Otter Point — Local services in Pacific Grove

The views are nice but where are the otters? We went in the afternoon and only saw a few seals swimming in the water far away but that is it. I feel like there are quite a few other better spots and viewpoints in Monterey plus no otters, hence why I give it 3 stars. Either change the name or specify what times of year or time of day you can see otters. We were all pretty disappointed we didn't...

Not too crowded on a Tuesday. We walked over from our hotel, but there is street parking available if you get lucky. It was windy and chilly in late December so bundle up! Saw several otters and lots of birds. There are lots of benches to sit on to enjoy the view....

There is a nice little parking lot and trails along the beautiful water. Otters, yes. When the waves are strong, they crash along the walls and create quite a spectacle. Just another wonderful coastal stop in...
