I went today to get root touch up and some highlights well after 2 hours of putting highlights in she took some out and sprayed with water so my hair wouldn't fall out. Then she finished the highlights then washed it put dye on my roots in shampoo chair then washed it out well the whole top was still Grey the root dye did nothing she told me well ur a grandma I told her no way so she said she would put more dye on top she said owner told her she had to put something in the dye well I hurried to dry the top so when she put it on it would take now we are on hour 4 she said she needed to learn to highlight and dye in between well after she washed it out she told me to dry it with hair dryer I told her its a big dark streak on top of my head a big dark spot on top of the back of my hair She should of told me she didn't know how to do it not charge me 200 and I look worse than I did when I came. When the owner realized she didn't know what she was doing she should have did something to help. After wards she told me she started a month ago and worked in a place only cutting hair. When I called to set appointment I said I needed balyage and a cut, waited a month for appointment cause she said everyone was completely booked. Showed stylist pics of exact color & cut wanted. She than told me she doesn't know how to do balyage which is what I asked for when setting appointment. She than did a highlight which looks exactly like what I already had when I walked in & cut is the complete opposite of pic, not even close. Cried the whole way home cause I am out $300 for hair & babysitter for 3hrs of my time. Think what happened is she was the independent stylist who happened to answer the phone & set me an appointment with her knowing she couldn't do what I was asking for but hoped to find a substitute to make money instead of referring me to a stylist who could do exactly what I asked for.
