Uncork & Unwind Craft Beer and Wine Lounge — Restaurant in Palatka

Sometimes, making a wrong turn takes you in the right direction. That's how I found this jewel in the rough in Palatka, Florida. Having been an all grain brewer for years, I'm always looking for craft beers and cool vibes to enjoy that moment. I found that in a part of Palatka, Florida that is going through a revitalization of an old brick and mortar district by the St. Johns River. The owner bartender, David, is very knowledgeable about his craft beers, and keeps an ample supply on Tap and in Bottles. I'm not looking for fancy, just good conversation and music that I can enjoy while still carrying on a conversation. Oh, and David will happily explain every beer and it's brewery for you if you're so inclined. I was. We visited Uncork & Unwind on the afternoon of Saturday, 26 Apr 2025, and had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. The owner was bar tending that afternoon and we had delightful conversations about craft beer, bourbon, occupation, and a number of other topics as we drank delicious stouts and triples. The music selection was perfect for a beer and wine lounge. The atmosphere and ambiance made for a very enjoyable time. The beer selection was exceptional and the owner was very knowledgeable about all the beers he had on tap and in bottles. Small and cozy we were greeted by a wonderful young lady tending bar and the 15 or so customers. Everyone were friendly and welcoming. I don't drink alcohol anymore but my brother and friend were both impressed with the available selection. I can't say enough about the bartender. This young lady was attentive, knowledgeable and full of great information. My brother and friend were going to the Chiefs/Jax game and she was loaded with all kinds of useful guidance.
