Smart-Tech — Local services in Palestine

We have had a very unprofessional experience so far. Over 2 weeks ago, my husband’s phone battery died. He drove 40 minutes to Smart-Tech per a recommendation and they figured out it was, indeed, the battery. They said they would order a new one and call us when it arrived. Over a week passed and nothing - when my husband called, they blandly said they don’t get packages in til noon. Husband calls again after noon, and they tell us either they had accidentally used it or never ended up ordering it. They claim they will order a new one and call when it comes. They never call, so we do two days later. They let us know they did get a new battery…so we drive 40 minutes there to drop off the phone. We are told it will be done in an hour and that we will be called when it’s done, so we run a few errands while we wait. Over an hour passes and we are not called. We drove back to Smart-Tech and they tell us they hadn’t even started on it! We can’t stay in town any longer, and I will now have to make ANOTHER hour and a half round trip with our two little ones because they have not communicated or kept their word. Highly disappointed. This place deserves more than 5 stars!!! Richard and his staff went above and beyond in fixing my iPhone !!! I brought it in for a cracked screen and Richard replaced my speaker which my volume hadn’t worked in months! I didn’t even tell him the issue about my volume! That just shows how he not only replaced my screen but checked it out completely making sure it was right before returning my iPhone to me!! I will use him for any future problems! Also his office was extremely NICE and friendly staff & service!! He was super busy with customers coming and going!! So he’s the man !! ...
