The food is not that great. We ordered a burger, steak nachos, chicken tenders, fried pickles, and mozzarella sticks (and 2 other meals I cant remember) Cheese sticks came with ranch instead of marinara which was weird, pickles had good crisp but didn't taste much like pickles. I asked the burger to be cooked rare and she said she'll tell them. Little did I know it was a smash burger. You can't cook a smash burger rare. 🤦♀️ had I known it was like that I would have ordered something else. Meat was dry and overly seasoned with salt. Should stick with thicker patties. Steak nachos had like... mozzarella or provolone cheese or something that was hardly melted, onion, peppers, and steak. It looked like they flipped a Philly cheesesteak onto some chips. When you read, "loaded nachos" that's not what you're expecting. Chicken tenders only came with 3 small tenders and a few waffle fries. The portion sizes all around wasn't great.
The service was excellent though. One thing about the atmosphere was the air hockey table was so dang loud! It just echos...
Read moreWe got there right when they opened and the table we sat at the chair had to be wiped off with my hand because it had food in it, and the table cloth was filthy. There was hair, lint, and food on the table cloth. I should have listened to my instinct about the lack of cleanliness as their first customers of the day, but I didn't. My daughters soup had a hair on the rim of the bowl. My sandwich had an eyelash under it, and my son's plate had a hair on it upon arrival. The kids pulled them off, but we made the staff aware. They offered to remake the food and then stated the cook is bald, but I couldn't eat after that. The cook is not the only one that can cause hairs to be on dishes, and the lack of cleanliness in a restaurant upon opening is not okay. With prices today I should have paid attention to my instincts before ordering.
Response: then you should probably retrain staff because we were the first customers of the day and there was dried broccoli in the seat that had to be swept off and the table cloth...
Read moreI was in town for business and stopped in to try it and I’m so glad I did. Makayla greeted us, sat us and served us. She did a fantastic job and was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We had the Caprese to start and it was delicious. The tomatos were not soggy and the basil and mozzarella were fresh. Our salad bowls were chilled and the lettuce was crisp. The main course came out quickly and was hot, perfectly seasoned and fresh made. The meatballs lacked flavor to my taste but the sauce made up for it as well as the generous portion sizes. (Spaghetti and meatballs) I was considering desert at oxbow down the road but Makayla suggested the lemon cake. I was not disappointed. She even made a fresh cup of coffee for us. I was slightly concerned as we were the only ones there but it was at 3pm on a Saturday. The portions were large and the prices were fair. Overall, 5 stars and I can’t...
