I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the dining experience my husband and I had at your establishment on 03-01-25.

Before placing our order, I inquired about the quality of the food and was assured by the lady at the counter that it was guaranteed to be good. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory.

Firstly, the absence of paper menus and reliance on a rapidly changing TV screen made it challenging to make informed choices. Consequently, when my husband's dish arrived, it was garnished with cilantro, an ingredient he dislikes. Upon bringing this to the server's attention—the same lady from the counter—she curtly responded that the pictures displayed cilantro and made no offer to rectify the situation. While we should have left at that point, my husband chose to proceed with his meal as served.

Furthermore, I found the meat in my gordita undercooked, and the rice was unacceptably hard. Unable to consume the meal, we decided to leave. I voiced my dissatisfaction to the lady at the front, but she made no effort to address our concerns. Wanting to avoid any perception of seeking free food, I paid the full amount of $27.80 despite not consuming our meals. To add to our dismay, she even took my husband's Coke as we left.

After reflecting on this experience, I called to request a refund. She promised to call me back, but I have received no response to date. I was informed he was in Mexico when I asked to speak with the owner. This lack of accountability and professionalism is deeply troubling.

In light of these issues and the unfulfilled quality guarantee, I am compelled to share this experience. This feedback prompts improvements in your service and food quality to prevent future patrons from enduring similar...

This used to be mine and my mom’s favorite spot, but today we were so disappointed:( the only positive we had was everyone agreed the beans were amazing. Everything was way too oily and lacked flavor and the steak was overcooked. We had the picadillo plate which was oily and the tortillas were lackluster. We had steak tacos as well as nopales tacos and the nopales tasted like the canned or jarred you get from the store, the quesadilla had no flavor and the rice was bland. The sauces had no spice like they usually do. Just overall very disappointing how much this...

I have loved coming to this restaurant ever since it opened. I work really close to the restaurant so it’s easy to walk to them for lunch. My favorite taco is the picadillo on flour with grilled onions and cilantro and I love their chicken quesadillas. Their rice is very flavorful. I used to be able to get tamales from them their chicken and green chili ones were the best in Palestine but last year they stopped making them. The language barrier is hard sometimes but the food is worth it.

Best AUTHENTIC Mexican food in town, this is no tex-mex and this is nothing but the best Mexican Restaurant in town. Me and my wife will come every weekend to get barbacoa tacos, the chorizo and egg is the best and the nopalitos are always fresh They have Menudo and Caldo de res every weekend. Don't miss the chicharron gordita! I highly encourage you to come here to taste the best true Mexican flavors and the best Mexican food in Palestine.

Food is more authentic than Tex-Mex. If they had queso and chips, I would go back more often. The servings are plentiful and filling. No complaints in the flavor and portion departments.
