---------------------This is my rating as a parent -------------------- Would not even give a star if possible. My judgement is based on only one teacher: Teacher Is. She would never provide me a brief feedback about my child's day at summer camp and if she did, she was very reluctant and used these exact words: "We do not provide feedback for SUMMER CAMPERS". She also literally shoved my child out the school door for the last three consecutive weeks when she saw me a few steps away from the door and shut the door right in front of me because of "safety issues". And yet, I always saw her in a distance away, chatting with other parent (either already or are going to send their child to Les Enfants) with the door widely opened. I have been in this field as a professional for ten years and have NEVER seen a teacher display such behavior. After receiving this type of discrimination, I lost trust in Teacher Is and withdrew my child from her last week of summer camp. ---------------------This is my rating as a professional -------------------- This rating is based on the classroom which my child was assigned - do not know how the other classrooms are managed. As a professional, who has been in the field of child development and education, and also a current child therapist for the last ten years, the school curriculum itself is great. I trusted the school curriculum and decided to send my child to Les Enfants. I had a chance to observe the classroom for two days and the curriculum is not conducted in a professional way. Class materials are not prepared in ahead of time, which causes the children to easily lose interest, lack of transition time for the children to get ready for the next activity and teachers display too much emotion to children. Teachers must display empathy not emotions to children, and it was clearly noticeable that the teachers (both primary and assistant teacher in my child's classroom) lack training in this professional area. (Not to forget about establishing rapport with parents - not a single parent should be felt left out like this - very very unprofessional). It is such a pity to waste such an excellent curriculum due to the lack of skills for both classroom management and teaching. The teachers also drop snacks from the air - I wouldn't even feed my dog this way - so I was very shocked. In conclusion, I am not sending my child back to Les Enfants and will not recommend Les Enfants to my friends. I would rather spend that money on a...
Read moreOur daughter first started here in 2022 and recently graduated in 2024. As a first time mom I was very nervous to send my daughter to preschool for the first time. I had visited other schools in the surrounding area but chose Les Enfants after meeting with Nancy. Nancy is incredible at keeping the school organized, she always communicated with us and is quick to respond to an email or phone call. Our daughter enjoyed each of her teachers over the years and loved the staff. We appreciate how long the staff has each been with the school. Their tenure is an example of the great environment. Happy teachers = Happy kids! :)
The Teachers and staff go out of their way to support the students and provide a wonderful experience. The quality of the lessons and activities was very impressive. We would share with our families and friends and get the response “we want to go to her school too!!” The way the teachers incorporated play and learning was fun, educational and exciting. Our family was invited in throughout the years for student led shows and to see the different projects the kids had worked on. I enjoyed the Tadpoles App that provided daily photos, videos and updates on what the class was learning. This also helped prompt my daughter’s memory and she would become excited to explain what she did that day. The classes celebrated kindness and respectfulness towards others and had wonderful values. The teachers and staff are top tier and amazing people we now consider family. We see old student come back to visit during summer camp because they miss their old teachers and school. My daughter never cried to go to school but I certainly cried when she graduated because the bar has been set VERY high. I couldn’t recommend Les Enfants enough. This is such a special place and our family is...
Read moreThere are so many wonderful things I could say about this school! My children are about to finish their full academic year at Les Enfants. To say we are blessed to have found this school is an understatement. I am a teacher in a public school nearby and I have never met educators quite like the ones I have had experience with at Les Enfants. Ms. Mona and Ms. Lisa have been nothing besides respectful, kind, caring and professional. My children feel safe and cared for while they are receiving an amazing education. They have grown and thrived so much in this class and I am beyond grateful. The sense of community created in their class is so wonderful to see! They were inclusive of all different abilities, cultures, beliefs and were able to adapt and differentiate as needed. I will be very sad to leave, however, my children are graduating so I have no choice. I have no doubt that we have created a "family" that will be in our lives for a...
