Extremely prejudice and horribly rude service from the two young girls. WAY too uncomfortable to order from this place again. Pizza would have been good but a couple young girls that work there give it a bad taste. The two girls usually work at the register. Both occasions it was not busy, I walked up to the register and ask if I could place an order, getting a couple slices Togo, and on both occasions both girls would 100% ignore me until a man came up to help me. They both would ignore me without assisting anyone. My second time I asked one of the girls again if they could hear me and that if I could still place an order, she looked at me up and down, rolled her eyes at me and kept on ignoring me. She was not even on a phone taking an order. My mom then came in to check on what's taking so long, at this point a whole 5-8 mins past by I still have not been helped. I told my mom what was happening and then my mom asked her why can't we order? She picked up the phone, didn't even put it to her face to say anything and slammed it back on the charger and turn to us so abruptly and aggressive asking "what do you want?" Her behavior towards us was like she knew us in her personal life I just does not like us. I don't know if she doesn't like where she works Or if she was being EXTREMELY PREJUDICE.
It seems to me the management obviously does not know how to train people and bring high morale into the restaurant.
Both times I have never heard their team laughing and talking with each other or even having a good time working.
THIS is why I am never ordering from them again. Made me so uncomfortable. Find it to be strange the owner doesn't pay attention to their low ratings. Looks like a small business. My mother owns and operates a small business by herself, her and I both understand that every reading counts.
Hopefully a(n) owner will contact me. The service is extremely low rated.
Response to the Owner: I wish there was an option to reply to your response on my review. I deeply appreciate your response! It has been killing me not to eat there. Thank you! Hopefully my mother and I can make plans to order your GF pizza, we’ve always wanted to try it! Thank you again for...

From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the warm, inviting aroma of freshly baked dough and rich tomato sauce that sets the stage for an unforgettable culinary experience.
I had the pleasure of trying their signature pizza, and let me just say, it was phenomenal! The crust was perfectly crisp yet delightfully chewy, striking that perfect balance that every pizza aficionado craves. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, with the sauce being the star of the show—rich, tangy, and made from the finest, ripest tomatoes.
Topped with a generous layer of gooey mozzarella that stretched beautifully with every slice, the toppings were fresh and vibrant. I opted for the Margherita pizza, and the combination of basil, fresh mozzarella, and a drizzle of olive oil was nothing short of heavenly. It’s clear that Urban Tomato prides itself on using high-quality ingredients and traditional techniques.
The ambiance of the restaurant adds to the experience; it’s cozy and inviting, with a friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. Whether you're dining in or grabbing a slice to go, Urban Tomato delivers on all fronts.

Read moreVery solid local pizza place. Very clean and well appointed interior and friendly staff upfront. It is the rare pizza cooked on a screen that is actually good. Undercarriage is crisp but with a bit of tip sag though some of it could be attributed to take out. Dough is properly fermented even though it appears to be same day dough with sugar added. Oven temperature probably is in the high 500s perhaps kissing 600 and the well formed cornichone exhibits nice color and char. The boxed pizza a had special liner keeping the undercarriage crisp which is a thoughtful touch. The cheese pizza had a pleasant and piquant sharpness, likely provolone from Grande East Coast Blend. The supreme was a belly buster topped high with a generous portions; the shiitake mushrooms are a classy touch. Loved the rice ball packed with red sauce, pesto, ricotta, proudly crisp and Italian. Pasta was solid and better than pasta at most pizzerias for an apple to apple comparison. Surprised and very glad to have found this...
