Today was my first time in here in years and will probably be my last. The store is filthy and smells weird.
Not sure which Bunnell trailer park they hire their trash employees from but they need to fire them. The sloppy looking store manager was extremely rude today all because I tried to purchase what I didn’t know was a display piece.
She waddled over shouting “uh uh who sold that?!” Repeatedly. The cashier said she was about to ring it up. She just shouts “no we’re not selling that!” While smacking on gum. After i had just been given a price.
I asked why it was on display for sale if it wasn’t actually for sale. We were all walking around trying to find help with a price. And maybe they should mark it as display or something instead of or remove it from the sales floor. And she responded with a nasty “because it’s a display. People have been trying to buy that all week.” So she’s got Piss poor managerial skills and no common sense.
All the cashiers looked terrified of this ogre. I just turned my back while she was yapping on. Only after her snarky comments did she tell the cashier they were getting more in. Like why not lead with that? Absolute trash service and horrible management. She looked like she needed a bath and braces. Left the rest of my basket...
Read moreScott the store manager is a complete jerk. My parents took back and AC unit they purchased on a credit card from two weeks ago, accidentally lost the receipt, but returned the item unopened. They had the debit receipt from their credit card, and used their info to pay through the customer portal. From the time we enter the store, till the time they left was about 40 minutes. Should have been maybe five or less. We counted over 20 people that were waited on before us. It took four times asking for Scott to get him to help us. When he came out, he never spoke to us, never introduced himself, and argued with my parents and told him he was doing them a favor to return the item. I’m pretty sure the return policy is to return the item especially if purchased through their portal that keep track...
Read moreBest way to make the most of going to an Ollie's like this one is to just visit, even if you don't really need anything, and learn the products that they do have and take a mental note of the pricing. That way, you know what is worth coming here for specifically. A lot of food items are obviously of varieties/flavors that don't sell well elsewhere so Ollie's tries to resell it cheaper. There are things I've bought which were 1/3rd the price of Wal Mart and some items that don't seem discounted much at all. A lot of people say it's "disorganized" but remember you are dealing with a store that is trying to look like a typical outlet but has to merchandise a lot of stuff. I have found food items that were expired, such as cereal, and had to bring it to the attention of...
