The Quilter's Faire — Local services in Palm Desert

Have gone in here several times while visiting PS. Great store with a wide range of fabrics, but the owner (I believe her name is Debby) is mean as a snake. She has responded with impatience and attitude a couple times when I asked a question, and I’ve overheard her speaking incredibly rude to her staff once— I’m talking stuff that only a heartless soul would say to another person. Was quite shocking and sad, really, to think about how pathetic her life must be to be speaking to someone like that. Obviously an extremely questionable character and not someone who deserves my business or yours (IMHO). Do not recommend. What a sad woman and a terrible thing to overhear. I had a five star experience. BUT, I saw a lovely Sr. Citizen ask to exchange a pattern that she accidentally bought twice shut down for an exchange. Mind you this person STILL bought far and beyond the exchange amount. Monica"s fabrics would NEVER do this to a customer! I will still shop quilters faire. But, I prefer to give my business to Monica"s. Honest service is what builds Americas...

Such a fun quilt store. I was on vacation and wanted to check out quilt shops in Palm Desert. Bought the Christmas quilt kit and was short a little on 2 of the materials.
