EDITED UPDATE to original review below. I phoned the store back after receiving the invitation to do so in a reply to my review. I spoke to the Manager of the store who was just great. He assured me that all of the stores techs were not only certified by Asurion, but they were also certified by Apple and Samsung as well! Yet, the phone rep told me that wasn't the case. The phone rep also told me the store was NOT a company store even though the business card and signage advertised it as such. The manager of the store assured me it was a company store, recently as of mid-November. I was very appreciative of his candor and his ability to determine I wasn't just complaining, that I had a very legitimate problem with the parent company not delivering on its program, not just for me, but some other recent customers of his with similar circumstances. His professionalism and knowledge was top shelf! As far as the store goes, they are open 7 days a week, its in a very nice shopping center near a Home Depot and Costco if you want to run other errands while in the area. The COSTCO had a line for gas so long out onto the street I swear there had to be an In-n-Out nearby!! The store is neat, clean and has a small selection of phone cases and screen protectors as well. Justin was not able to resolve my problem unfortunately because its a corporate office computer system that cant be overridden, apparently by anyone.
ORIGINAL REVIEW below, since resolved with 5 Stars This was mis-information given to me by Asurion phone reps: WARNING!!! This store DOES NOT have Asurion certified techs working on some phone models! The store name says "BY Asurion" in its logo, window signage and business card BUT its ONLY a franchise and they are NOT required to have certified techs working on all models of phones. Asurion WOULD NOT give me authorization to have my phone repaired here. Instead, I have to mail it in for repairs and its going to take a week....without my business tool! I told the Asurion rep i spoke to on the phone that the store has the parts and offered to repair it for me for $291 cash since Asurion Insurance wouldn't authorize it. The phone rep told me the phone would lose all remaining warranty of I had it repaired here since the store didn't have a certified tech at this location. The guy I spoke to in the store also told me to have Asurion set up my repair at the Temecula store and then the store would transfer it to this location. The lady on the phone said they aren't supposed to do that, it amounts to a fraudulent insurance repair since the tech fixing it wont be certified and that's why the repair was rejected in the first place at this store. Read moreAre the good reviews from the employees because ain’t no way. Went on mon(08/12) for my sons switch to get “fixed” they said 3-5 days I’m like okay. 5th day I show up and not ready. The guy looked at the screen like if they forgot about it and was like like “uh oh um yeah the part will get here Monday” so I call and they don’t answer I show up and they say Tuesday. (I was going out of town& I had to make arrangements to have someone pick it up. Not to mention I needed that switch Tuesday for when I went out of town for my son)so then my dad calls and they said the screen will be coming the next day(Wednesday).. it’s now friday (08/23)called no one answered so I went and they said the part was coming later. Mind you it was 3pm they close at 6:00 ( I knew they were gonna keep extending it like this entire time) at that point it’s been way too long asked for it back and they said to come back later. I picked it up got home and the switch DID NOT WORK AT ALL! It would turn on if you put it on the dock just the screen wasn’t working but idk what they did to completely break it. You gotta go through customer service for a refund and I’m sure it’s tedious so I’m just gonna go to my bank to dispute it because how freaken ridiculous. I have recordings of every time I went there. Definitely do not come here unless you want a headache and be disappointed. I’m a super nice person and this place really got to me I was so angry.
