El Taquero Poblano - Tacos Estilo Tijuana — Restaurant in Palmdale

They really capture the essence of Baja Cali style Tacos al Carbon. Since I was a kid, I have spend a lot of time in the Baja region. One of my favorite experiences has always been going to eat Tacos Al Carbon as soon as we arrive in TJ, Tecate, Rosarito, etc. For a long time the flavor, smell, watching the taquerias in action, watching the meat getting grilled was only something I would see on my trips to Baja. Well not anymore. THIS IS THE SPOT... If your looking for a flavor that rivals Tacos El Poblano (Tijuana y Rosarito), or Tacos La Guera (Tecate). The aguas frescas are also on point (not like that wana'be powdered horchata or Jamaica). The aguas make an excellent chaser for the enchilada. The experience would be better if we paid after we eat like they do in the taquerias in Baja Cali, Mex. And the icing on the cake would be to have an actual tile bar where we walk up and order tacos...

The reason why I give them one star is because I believe that the staff do not have the food handler diploma. the taco maker with his hands without gloves put raw meat on the grill and after touching raw meat and without washing his hands he prepared the food for us mules and tacos even so I did not want to be rude and paid for the food that I ordered. one of the employees told me that the taco maker cleans his hands with a cloth towel. They should have a bucket with soap and water and also wear gloves. I also noticed that the clamp they use for raw meat is also used to move the cooked meat, chorizo, jalapeño, they use the same clamp for everything. The 4 of us who ate taquero poblano that day one member of my family vomited all night, we all ate carne asada and he ate...

Wow!!! This food was AMAZING and AUTHENTIC!!! I had the birria taco with guacamole!!!! Amazing homemade tortillas with slow cooked roasted beef …. It was actually super healthy! I loved it!!! This is a place you can eat at, but it’s a little small and dark inside. But, You can eat outside too.

I usually take it to go! The food is soooo good and the price is very inexpensive!!! Go and experience tasty Mexican food.

Be sure to tell everyone where it is located. It’s not easily seen by the street. But totally worth the money...
