This place is extremely pricey compared to the value of customer service.
This was my feedback to their survey:
My pedicurist was wonderful. As far as the environment and customer service, please take this feedback and apply it, as it will help your success. I made a reservation online. I checked in on the pad when I came in. I was told to look at the wall of colors or the book to select a color. Tip: Hand your customer a book and politely let them know there are additional selections available on the wall OR allow them to sit in their chair and make selections while soaking. Tip: Introduce your stylist to the customer. I had someone walk up to me and silently take me to a chair. Tip: Ask for the color choice/color number, and have the stylist aware of the pedicure type that was chosen online when booking. Tip: Fulfill services, with the exception of the paraffin, before completing toes (gel). My toes were completely done before the scrub, heels, and massage were done. I did not soak and became cold. Tip: Train staff to speak softly and not yell. Many times, I was enjoying my massage and someone would yellā¦it was other stylists. Tip: Ensure that your customers know that you do not accept tip by card. I waited through the entire transaction before getting someone to help with adding a tip. People donāt carry cash these days. Tipping by personal Venmo or Zelle is tacky and not worthy of the climate that the price for services suggests. Either place appropriate signs for customer payment OR except the charge that a tip added to a card causes. I also heard another customer complaining of the cost of a manicure. Although I wasnāt involved, I noticed the lack of attention to the customerās complaint. Front desk personnel were very dismissive and allowed the person to disrupt the climate. I chose the āBlossom Pedicureāāthe most expensive. I wanted to treat myself, as it had been a while. Put more effort into creating a tranquil atmosphere and to making customers feel like they are stepping away from daily stressāespecially for the prices of services. Train staff to lead and respond in service, as thatās what you are providing. Again, I am pleased with my pedicure, but I really hope to come back to a business thatās about the client. Visit Luxecares in St. Pete on 4th St. They exceed climate and service for a fraction of the price. They are proud of their business and take care of it, as well as their customers, to make sure they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was my first and LAST at Blossom Nails. Horrible service. When I walked in no one told me to pick a color or offered me anywhere to choose colors. I even asked. The nail tech asked me what color I chose when she walked up. I said I needed to see what was available. She brought me two books after I told her I had not picked yet. I did not like any colors. Like I said it was two small fold over books. I asked if there were other choices. I was just redirected back to the books. I am used to many choices at other salons. .This was a VERY small selection of options. Only one brand too. I am pretty sure there were other options but I was not shown them. My nail tech TALKED ON THE PHONE THE WHILE TIME SHE DID MY MANI - she did not talk to me at all. It took me awhile to realize she had an ear bud in and was not talking to herself. Horrible! The color was not the one I chose- then she said no you chose it and kept painting. It was a darker one than I wanted. She said it would look better once she put chrome on. I still donāt love it- but at that point I gave up. Pretty expensive even if it was good service. It was way too much for what I got. I am mad at myself I even paid for such an impersonal service. I mean the nail tech acted like I was an inconvenience to her day and phone call. I was also never offered anything to drink or any kind of an extra touch of service.
Honestly- I was really stunned. I have been to many salons and have always had excellent service. I was hoping to find a place closer to home but I will drive further to have better service. I now need to go somewhere else this weekend to fix my color and spend even more. Such a let down. They should rebrand as budget nails- no...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have rarely written a review about anything, but this experience was so bad Iām still upset about it nearly a week later. Probably because my nail service didnāt even last a week.
I have loved going to the Lakewood Ranch location for a while now, so when this one opened closer to home I was so happy. I went Saturday for a dip manicure and pedicure and it was the worst experience Iāve ever had. The sample colors you choose from donāt match the actual color you get at all. When I pointed it out, I was told it would get darker with another coat. Dark red is still red and I didnāt choose a red, I chose gray. This happened twice and the tech only wanted to argue with me and speak to her coworkers in another language when I was speaking. Then there's my nails. My last dip manicure lasted more than a month. They were still perfect when I came in for this service, they had just grown out. My dip manicure by Emily didn't last 6 days. Day one they started chipping. By day three, chunks were breaking off. Today is day 6 and the last whole nail just came off. I've never paid so much money to have such poor quality work ($180 for two pedicures and the manicure without a tip, which has to be made in cash - they point you to an ATM if you donāt have cash that charges fees). I will never go there again. If you decide to try the place for yourself, just don't let Emily do your nails. She couldnāt have done a worse job if she had...
