5/5 Stars: A Delicious New Addition to the Neighborhood!

I recently had the pleasure of ordering take-out at Osaka Sushi Grill, a new Japanese sushi and hibachi restaurant in the area, and I must say that it's a game-changer! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the modern and sleek decor, which sets the tone for a sophisticated dining experience.

But let's get to the main event: the food! I ordered the Godzilla Roll, which did not disappoint. The combination of spicy "krabmeat", creamy avocado, and crunchy elements was a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The addition of eel and crunchy toppings added a delightful surprise to each bite. And let's not forget the eel sauce, which brought everything together beautifully.

The Tom Yum Chicken Soup, a Thai-inspired soup that's not typically found on Japanese restaurant menus. It's a bold and spicy broth filled with tender chicken, mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, lemongrass, and Thai herbs. It's a refreshing twist on traditional Japanese soups and adds a unique element to the overall dining experience. Wasn't overly seasoned but was flavorful.

And don't even get me started on the Chicken and Shrimp Hibachi! Juicy chicken and shrimp cooked to perfection alongside a medley of colorful vegetables topped with the yum yum sauce. Was very good! The rice wasn't my favorite BUT my family enjoyed.

Be sure to ask your server for recommendations on other menu items.

Service was top-notch, quick fast and easy online ordering ready in 15-20 minutes! The prices were on the higher side, but was ok considering the portions.

Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with OSAKA and can't wait to return. Whether you're a sushi aficionado or just looking for a new dining experience, this restaurant is definitely worth checking out. Be sure to order the Godzilla Roll and Tom Yum Chicken Soup – you...

These other reviews have to be fake…

Unfortunately, our dining experience at this Japanese hibachi restaurant was far from satisfactory. The Crab Rangoons, though crispy and tasty, were mostly filled with cream cheese and lacked crab. I had to swap my sweet tea, which was underwhelming, for a Coke due to its poor taste.

The service was notably lacking. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and had a significant language barrier, which led to a series of misunderstandings. For instance, when we asked for our hibachi meal to be split into two plates, he simply brought us two small empty plates. He also had difficulty keeping track of our orders and never offered to refill our drinks. While I understand there might be cultural and language differences, the restaurant should ensure all staff can effectively communicate with guests to maintain a good service standard.

The food itself was disappointing. The hibachi steak was overcooked and flavorless; we requested medium but received well-done. Similarly, the rice was bland, and not even soy sauce or yum yum sauce could salvage it. The lobster was also overcooked and unpleasant to eat. This is perhaps the worst hibachi meal I've had anywhere in the world. I left most of it uneaten.

Additionally, it's worth noting there was no hibachi table, which detracted from the expected hibachi experience. On a slightly positive note, the salad with ginger dressing was tasty, but that alone couldn't make up for the overall poor experience. This restaurant needs to reconsider both its food quality and service training to live up to the expectations of a genuine...

One of our new favorite places to go to for lunch! I had the Hibachi chicken w/ fried rice and vegetables. It came with a salad (ginger dressing) and clear soup. Everything was delicious. I love the ginger dressing that comes on the salad. I had a favorite place in Tennessee I used to go to that had the same salad dressing and I'd been unable to find an exact match anywhere else, but I have found it here, at Osaka. I will continue to frequent this place for the salad alone, haha. But seriously, everything I had was perfect and I look forward to exploring the rest of the menu. My husband ordred extra spicy Pad Thai w/shrimp and he really enjoyed his meal as well. The gyoza (with pork filling) appetizer was great and unlike gyoza I've had at other restaurants. It may have been airfried? Anyway, I am glad Osaka is only a few miles down the road from us and I can't wait for our...

I ordered takeout for the first time here today. The Magic roll (snow crab) had a small strand of grab in it and TON of avocado. The Mexican roll had very tiny shrimp, not like what is pictured on their site. The Dynamite roll was mostly rice with very little salmon. It seems like they are VERY stingy with the fish in their rolls. Honestly feel kinda ripped off. Before I finished my Magic roll I decided to take a picture of a piece. I've attached two photos, the photo on their site, and a photo of what I got. This was my first and last visit to this place. I really wish I would have taken a photo of the Mexican roll before I went to look at their photos online, the shrimp in their online pictures is WAY bigger than what I got, these things were TINY. I had a better experience at Sushi Bay in Sarasota for $16 for 3 rolls than I did here for $35.
