Today, we had the distinct pleasure of attending the grand opening of Red Door Escape Rooms, where we took on the challenges of Enchanted and Lost Treasures. Our experience was made all the more enjoyable thanks to our exceptional game masters, Duncan and Mace, whose enthusiasm and expertise truly elevated our journey through both rooms.
For those planning a visit, we highly recommend parking at the Horseshoe parking garage for the most convenient access from the casino to the escape rooms.
As for the rooms themselves, both offer unique experiences. Enchanted stands out as a classic escape room, with a charming atmosphere and puzzles that cater to the traditional escape room enthusiast. In contrast, Lost Treasures brings an innovative twist, incorporating more technology and fewer of the familiar lock-and-key elements. While it may not appeal to those seeking a conventional escape room experience, it offers a refreshing change of pace for those looking to try something different. As part of our mission to complete every room in Las Vegas, we were thrilled to take on both challenges.
It's exciting to see Red Door Escape Rooms make their mark in the Vegas escape room scene!
Update (10/18/24): Can now say I have completed all the rooms currently available at Red Door. Special kudos to Kat & Duncan - they were the best people I've met so...
Read moreWe played the Borderlands room on 11/25 after it has just opened. Our family are big fans of the game and escape room veterans so we had to try it.
The atmosphere was AMAZING. Honestly, I wish we had time to just hang out in the space. The props, the puzzles, the music, the voices were all perfect. They absolutely crushed the production of the room. Fans of the game will be blown away by how immersive the experience is and how they included almost every facet of the video game in the room. Whoever did the set design deserves a raise, truly. The ECHO device was something that we’ve never seen in another room and we’d love to see more rooms implement something similar.
The game play was pretty easy. We had two kids (ages 8 and 12) who are escape game veterans. This was their 5th room. We ran through with 20 minutes to spare and our first ten minutes was just us soaking it all up. Puzzles will be easy enough for escape room newbies. We didn’t have any clues. A great beginner room! And easy enough for older kids/teens too.
Our game host was clearly in training /a newbie but that’s ok! We’d really love to see them hone up their pregame script especially while handing you the ECHO device. It’s such an immersive room, it’d be cool for them to start that part a...
Read moreIt was wonderful! I can’t wait to go back! My brother wanted to go play the Borderlands room for his birthday since he and I love the Borderlands series. It was great! The props were true to the series, the rooms theming was a blast, and our group had a good laugh at the jokes! We had so much fun that we decided to play another room right after. We decided to play The Lost Treasure room which was more like a fun team video game than an escape room but it was so unique! The puzzles were simple but the gameplay and yelling at each other was the best! Michael had helped us at the front desk and was great! He moved our booking times to make sure we still got a full hour in the Borderlands room when part of my team was running late. Then, Leila was was our game host and she was so much fun! She made us feel welcomed and cracked jokes with us. She also took the wonderful photos I’ve posted with this review. We will definitely be back in the future and plan on playing the Enchantment room. Thank you again for the...
