We were visiting Las Vegas from Texas Mother’s Day weekend. We had a group of friends with us as well as family that drove from California to meet us. I wanted to do a Mother’s Day brunch for our group of 10. I kept seeing reviews for Ole Red come up on my FYP on Tik Tok. Their new brunch had high reviews. I went to the website and inquired about reservations. Reservations are not required but I thought with it being Mother’s Day and having a large party it would be best to make reservations. I received an email stating my request for reservations was accepted.
Half of our party arrived first. They communicated to me they were sat upstairs on the rooftop. When we arrived we were in a hurry because the other half of our group arrived first and were waiting for us. We walked in through the second story entrance. We walked past the hostess stand, where no one was there. As I’m making my way fo the elevator a waitress that worked there barked at me that I could return to the hostess stand where she would help us. I was holding an 8 oz water bottle in my hand. She snapped at me that I couldn’t have that in there. I explained to her that our party arrived first and they were waiting for us on the rooftop. She rudely replies that’s fine but again you can’t have that water bottle. I thought it was ridiculous, it’s a water bottle but whatever I tossed it in the trash can by the door and said “there, are you happy.” She goes off on me saying she is just doing her job.” Well that is fine but she did not need to snap at me and be extremely rude about it. As I walk to the elevator there is a lady sitting at a table with her Starbucks drink. Guess the no outside drink rules only apply to certain people.
When we get to the rooftop I’m surprised to learn we are sitting at two separate tables that aren’t even that close to each other. They said they couldn’t put two tables together because it’s a fire hazard. We were never told we could not be seated together. Had I been told that we would have went somewhere else. Who wants to sit separate from their party when your trying to celebrate Mother’s Day.
The food and drinks were underwhelming. The breakfast burritos where extremely dry. The Monte Cristo french toast was even dry. Even with using syrup. The only thing that was good was the actual service from our waitress. She was at least nice unlike the rude server downstairs. The views were very nice, that was the only thing I enjoyed from my experience at Ole Red. I was also surprised our bills had the tip included. I understand this is standard practice for parties of 8 or more. However we weren’t even sitting together and the two tables were on two separate tabs. How can you consider us a party of 8 or more when we aren’t even seated near each other. We still tipped above the 18% but it’s the principle
Sadly this was our worst dining experience during our visit to Las Vegas. I felt bad because this was our Mother’s Day celebration and I am the one who picked Ole Red. I’d recommend going to Jason Aldeans Bar & Kitchen over this place. Their staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and all of the food we tried was...
Read moreI don’t ever leave reviews but this ole red stood out from the rest. I’ve been to almost all the ole reds, I’m from Nashville and I came to town for PBR week a little early. I came to ole red Las Vegas 2 days in a row with my wife we love live music and especially country. Bands were great and late night on the roof the DJ rocked it. The food was ok, we tried the nachos, wings and chicken sandwich. Doesn’t compare to Nashville food to be honest. The worst part of the visit were the bartenders. We somehow had the same bartenders both nights. 10/16 Thursday was the first night and we wanted to sit on the first floor and enjoy the band, we sat at the bar on the end and tired to start up a conversation with the big muscle man but he seemed like he was in a bad mood. He was angry when we asked questions about the beer. When I asked if they had a blonde he just pointed to the draft beers and said “these are all the beers we have” and walked away. He came back and just kinda stared at us until we told him our order. There were seats that came open in the middle of the bar so we moved to be able to see the band and sit side by side. We got served by the other girl when we moved and she didn’t even speak she just said what you want. I guess southern hospitality doesn’t run throughout all the ole reds. Service for the rest of the night was blah, they didn’t come to make sure our food was correct, it took forever to get refills on our beers. We didn’t stay long after we were done eating. The second night 10/17 Friday we came back and ate dinner on the second floor this time with a server she was great but I don’t remember her name. We decided to check out the roof top and to our surprise the same bartenders were on the roof that night. The big man was so angry again I even tired to compliment him cuz you could tell he worked out a lot but he didn’t seem to like that and walked away from us, he didn’t attempt to serve us again after that. The girl was rude and we felt like she didn’t want to be up there we ordered a round from her and she tossed us our money back after we paid. There was a new bartender named Jack.. he was the best bartender we met. Nice, helpful, talkative, made our drinks in time, he didn’t care that we asked questions about the drinks either. If I had to recommend this place I wouldn’t because of those 2 bartenders… they made our time there so miserable but bc of Jack I would recommend our other friends coming for pbr to visit. I might be back again this weekend and I really hope I don’t see those other 2...

During our visit Las Vegas location while there on a girls trip we visited on February 17, 2025 and had been here the previous year and had a great time with service, food and music. However on this occasion, nothing went right.
We arrived around 12:30 pm and were seated on the second level and it took almost 10 minutes before our server, Vincente acknowledged us. Drinks took another 10 minutes before showing up and we put in the food order. After 45 minutes of not seeing our server or our food, I get up to talk to the hostess and find out what's going on. She said she'll check with the server. Finally Vincente comes over to the table around 1:45 and asks how everything was (as if we had eaten already) and we said our food still hasn't arrived. Even another server stopped by our table to check on us when food was being delivered to other tables that had arrived long after we did.
Our order somehow got lost between the server and the kitchen and Vincente comes back by the table around 2:15 to say they can make it now and will be about 15 minutes. While waiting the music group that started at 2pm was way too loud. I understand live music, but it hurt the ears and I was happy when they took a break.
Finally about 2:30 our food arrives at the table, and all 3 orders are wrong. We made it work to eat since if we sent it back to the kitchen who knows when we would have seen food again and it had already been over 2 hours since we arrived. Our server gave us Christmas mugs as an apology. The food was comped, as I agree it should have been, but we still had to pay for the drinks. The table has 2 beers and a soda for $37.95. With everything that happened, the drinks should have been covered as well. We finally left about 3:15 and I was more than ready to go.
The other 2 in my group wanted to stay, otherwise I would have left within the first 30 minutes after arriving.
To say this visit was a huge disappointment is an understatement after our great experience the previous year. I would not be inclined to return to this location...
