Your cashier #1214 and the “manager” she called over completely humiliated me this morning while I attempted to make a return. I returned two items both with the tags still on and my receipt. Apparently one of the tops I was returning had an incorrect tag on it. It was marked $39.99 and as a two piece but I purchased it as a top only. There is no way for a customer to know that by looking at the tag. It was only after she scanned the tag that I was told. I told the cashier I purchased it just like that and she called the “manager”, an Indian woman over. Neither of them had name tags on so I don’t know their names. This lady walks over and rips the tag off and said it wasn’t the tag for that item and they couldn’t accept the return. Her tone was accusatory as if I had switched the tags myself. Keep in mind my entire purchase on that receipt totaled $180. I had purchased several items. So I asked her to explain how it was my fault that Marshall’s put the incorrect tag on it. And I asked how a customer would be able to tell an incorrect tag was on an item? When I purchased it nothing was mentioned to me. My receipt matches the tag and I paid $39.99 for this item. The Indian woman told me to go back to the Marshalls where I purchased it to return. Excuse me? I refused and asked to speak to the store manager. She said that person was in a meeting. So I said I’m not going anywhere. After an entire back and forth they accepted my return. I shop at Marshall’s, TJ maxx, and Homegoods on a weekly basis and I have never been treated like that. I certainly don’t have the time or need to switch any tags and to be accused of doing that is offensive. I was...
Read moreVery disappointed with the cashier and the customer service of this place. Yes they do have great prices and this is why I come here to shop for my four boys. I bought pants for my kids and one of the pants had two tags on them. One price said $12 and the other red tag for $8. The cashier took the $8 tag off and said that its $12. I argued and said no its $8 cause you just took the tag off. Her answer is I couldnt scan that tag so the $12 is scanning so that's the price. I told her that's not right if the price is on the item and it's your tag that price should be honored. Her answer to me is that's not how it goes in this store. Second item is pants for myself and the price is $10. Again she tried scratching off the red tag and said it cant be scanned. So I told her its $10 there are a few more on the rack of the same kind. She refused to believe me and asked her co-cashier and the co-cashier said $15. I refused and asked how she just make up a price? Her answer to me was it's the price so do you want it or not. I told her go get someone to get the same pants and it will show you the price. They called another attendant to check and there it is I am right. The pants are $10. The two cashiers didn't apologize for their mistakes or even admitted to their mistake. Sorry Marshall I know I'm just one customer and I dont matter but because of your employees I am never...
Read moreMy unexpected visit was fantastic 🥰 I was killing time, I have never stopped in here and didn't know there is also a lower level. I found wonderful hair products, an adorable marked down laundry soap tin. My cashier was Maria, so cheerful, so pleasant. One tag was not legible so she quickly had to step away from the register, but in a flash she had the proper price. I also complimented John, who is the store manager, on how wonderful his store is. I recommend you stop by this location, plenty of parking, delightful items throughout the upper & lower level. You are certain to find something either for yourself or a gift. Maria & John made my visit here great !! One happy...
