This review is for the gym only as I do not use the outside facility’s. Overall it’s a decent gym, not too crowded. What motivated me to write this review is the other gym users. I am so sick of guessing whether a machine is being used or not because around half of the people here don’t ever rerack their weights. In addition, some that do put weights back put them in the wrong spot. I don’t understand why it is so hard to put freeweights back when the rack is literally labeled by weight.
This gyms equipment is nice for what they have but they are missing some majorly important machines and racks including a working calf machine(the seated one they have is awful. Your legs are spread so far apart it’s nearly unusable) a lying leg curl machine, an incline press permanent rack, decline machine press, and hip thrust station to name a few. I find clips for handholds on the cable machine to be missing often as well.
I will say the staff has always been very nice and welcoming. As a previous gym employee of another gym though it would be nice if they helped to rerack misplaced weights but I get that people are not always available. Overall not bad for $45 a month but could...
Read moreThis center provides a wide variety of venues and athletic equipment anyone would be happy to use and would be surprised is available for the price they charge. Having said that, the reason I give this facility a 4/5 and not a 5/5 are for the following reasons:
They need someone to inspect their locker rooms and restrooms more often. Some lockers have leftover items for multiple days without an inspection, and the same could be said about their toilets. Not always, but more than a returning customer would like.
When asking general questions, some of the employees are not great communicators. Not all, just some.
I wish there was an e-mail notification of some kind to let their customers know when there are adjustments taking place (i.e. when the steam-room will be shut off, if the TVs will be repaired, if certain equipment will not be available because it needs to be repaired or replaced, etc.).
Once these items are addressed and fixed, then this is the perfect spot for anyone...
Read moreIt has all the cardio equipment for your every need, huge indoor tennis court, and fitness rooms, so I'll give it 3 stars for your standard commercial gym. Unfortunately I went there to lift weights. The barbells (standard 45lbs) and weights they had were atrocious. Half the weights were in Kg and the other half in lbs. The barbells they had were low quality (Looked like barbells from Sears). Further, they have this all on the second floor so you can't do any exercises in which you can drop the weight (bent over rows, dead lift, cleans) or it will interrupt classes downstairs. Only sorta good thing was they have 3 squat racks and 1 bench rack. The other weights like dumb bells were your standard commercial gym weights. If you're looking to lift weights, I would highly recommend...
