Just gonna keep it simple. Watched them prepare the food behind the counter. And by prepare, I mean they put the cold ingredients in a container and then microwaved it. The results were as you might expect. You can see the microwave in the photo.
Lmao. Lowered to one star for the snarky response from the owner. Point being, for $15, I don't want gas station food that's heated in a microwave that I get with bits of the food scolding hot and other portions still cold like I just made an at home hot pocket. If you want to give your customers that and arrogantly claim that this a food industry standard, I hope your client base will have some semblance of intelligence to see beyond that. Best of luck.
Alright we'll have a back and forth lol. "Mmm kay. If you just didn't like the food or my team messed up, fine." Read my review again. I stated why I didn't like your food. The food was scolding hot in spots and cold in others. I know why it was that way, because it was microwaved. For forty years in the business, I'm amused that you seem to think this is the optimal way to heat food, as opposed to any other operation that does fast casual like a Chipotle which keeps their food heated to avoid food borne illness. I can find microwave quality for $5 at 7-11. And just to preempt since you're clearly responding to my feedback with zero sincerity, no, I don't think Chipotle is a gold standard, it's an example, an example that I don't even enjoy eating at, yet they still hit the mark better than your business. In operation for 40 years and your take away from my review is that microwaves = everything bad. In the business for 40 years and instead of responding to criticism with sincerity, you're sarcastic and dismissive of your customer. At this point dude, the way you've handled this exchange is a bigger indicator of reality to anyone interested in this place than anything I could have said about using microwaves lol. Give a fool a rope and they'll...

Sandwiches: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Value: 5/5
We stopped in to have a quick lunch before hiking in Park City. The owner was super welcoming and answered all of our questions. The folks making the sandwiches really want you to have the perfect sandwich. They were happy to adjust the hotness/spicy level of my husband's sandwich and were more than happy to do half n half meats on my sandwich. Lots of options for toppings, including your usuals and some specialities. Side pickles to boot. The baked goods all looked delicious. It was evident that a lot of locals are dedicated to the place, which is always a good sign. They strive to make the customer happy and value folks coming back. I picked up a quick latte on the way out and they made sure it was perfect and offered to remake it as needed (it was good right out of the gate)
Highly recommend if you need a good, solid lunch in the...
Read moreI have fallen in love with this cafe. Owner is down to earth, genuine, very personable, witty, knowledgeable, and kind. He authentically cares about each customer and I respect the hell out of any owner who gets their hands dirty. I got the sandwich of the day combo (in-house smoked cubano) with the greek salad and macaroni salad as my two sides, and a large drip coffee. The sandwich was huge and so very tasty, being hearty but fresh and not too heavy (I didn’t take a picture because I inhaled it haha). The salads were a bit small but super fresh and delightful with a wee zing. Coffee is not bitter, flavorful, and tasty. Prices are very reasonable (just under $20 for it all) considering the average price in the area and amount/quality of the food. Overall great place that you should absolutely support! Also a small family business! I work across the street and will be frequenting...
