Honest review.

This store has been in my neighborhood for over 14 years. I’ve purchased before a couple times but not in quite a long while. I was planning to drive to another mattress store chain next door. accidentally missed the turn, and made the very next turn that was just feet away, and ended up at City Mattress - I’m so beyond grateful, I cannot put into words how grateful I am that I missed that turn!

If you want to be sure of your investment, stop looking online, or at the big showrooms, and run don’t walk, and ask for SETH WEINSTEIN. He found my dream mattress under a strict budget.

Here’s my experience… I got more than I was expecting. I actually got emotional. Sleep is so important and we work so hard, those few hours better count and our investments we want to last!

I thought, “ok I’ll run in here first. Just look, touch, feel, peek around and head where I was going”. I have a budget, and I was sticking to it.

I walk in, and I’m greeted. Not jumped on, not ignored, but genuinely greeted by a gentlemen named, “Seth”.

He let me walk around, said if I needed any help to,” just ask for Seth”. He was giving me space, and I asked him to see the “budget area”.

It was around 4:30pm. They closed at 6pm and I thought 10 -30 minutes I’ll be done and head out to my original destination.

That didn’t happen. I found not only the right mattress, but the right person who had the answers to every concern I brought up, and found MY Mattress.

He was so patient, relatable, not hovering, genuine, kind, and funny with easy good banter, not the “sales” small talk. Seth was completely transparent, and TRULY wanted to get me what I wanted, needed, and unbeknownst to me, more. There was zero pressure. He wanted to find the right fit for me, and something that would last me a long time.

He was meticulous, whilst multitasking every facet of what I was looking for. I just started talking to him like an old friend while he answered my million questions happily. He genuinely wanted me to be absolutely sure and happy before I made any decisions. He did not push.

He even stayed and missed a movie with his family he was looking forward to as it was 6:30pm by the time HE found me my dream mattress, dream boxspring, even the frame is of the utmost quality. He didn’t just say it’s 6pm come back tomorrow like the store previous did.

I got the most beautiful experience in making a purchase so important to me, in my budget, and better quality than I expected. Built to last, and sturdy from top to bottom. ABSOLUTE LUXURY compared to what I was planning on from the start. He gave me options A-Z. He listened to me, he heard me. Any issue I brought up, he made it go away, it was like watching someone build MY very own mattress. Only for me. True story.

Transparent, honest, dedicated, intelligent, and a genuine love for what he does, and great pride in how he runs his ship. All with grace and compassion.

I cannot tell you how refreshing it was to be treated like a person, a human, not a sale, or number. He kept every promise, and made it all happen!

I received my items today on the arranged date, and I am beyond THRILLED and in love at the quality, confidence and assurance in my purchase. Everything is in mint condition.

Edit, with update. The manager reached out to me and was very sincere in apologizing. They worked around my schedule and made our inconvenience up to me in a way that was satisfactory to me. They definitely went above and beyond trying to regain our business. I can't give a five star review, because a five-star company wouldn't employ people who treated us like we were treated yesterday, but I really respect their efforts to keep us as customers.

My husband and I went to buy a mattress this past weekend and we were so pleased with our experience buying with Rosalind. We thought we had everything sorted out for a delivery today, selected an a.m. delivery and asked that they try to get it near our lunch hours (since we both work) and she assured us that would work out. Fast forward to today...this morning (at around 7:30 a.m.) I receive a call saying that our delivery window is 1 to 4. I call City Mattress customer service to understand why it had been changed from what we expected. She assured us that they would give us a half hour's notice and that they'd aim for the start of the window. 1 rolls around with no call. My husband waited at work to hear the notification that they'd be on the way. I get the call, saying they're 15 minutes away (so much for 30 minutes notice). He hurries home, hoping to catch them, I call the guard to make sure they're let in, and lo and behold, 30 minutes after the initial call, they still aren't there. He calls customer service, and they say that the driver is 2 minutes away. 10 minutes after that, still with no sign of the driver, my husband calls customer service again. They were unapologetic and unhelpful, and only offered to reschedule. He canceled the order. As busy professionals who work hard, we don't expect to be lied to and treated so poorly by someone we've spent money with. He tried really hard to accommodate his schedule for these folks, and lost a lot of time, energy, and gas for NO REASON. Very very...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting City Mattress, and I must say that even though I might not be able to make a purchase right now, the exceptional service provided by Seth Weinstein deserves recognition.

Walking into City Mattress, I was initially overwhelmed by the vast selection of mattresses. However, Seth's expertise and patience immediately put me at ease. He took the time to provide a detailed explanation of the various options, guiding me through the intricacies of mattress selection.

Despite my budget constraints, Seth treated me with the same level of attention and care as any other customer. His professionalism and dedication to ensuring that I had a thorough understanding of the available choices truly stood out. It's not often that you encounter a salesperson who genuinely prioritizes customer education over making a quick sale.

While I may not have been able to afford City Mattress's best offerings at this time, I left the store with a wealth of knowledge and a profound appreciation for Seth's commitment to customer satisfaction. His exceptional service has left a lasting impression on me.

I want to express my gratitude to Seth Weinstein and the City Mattress team for creating such a positive shopping experience. I will undoubtedly keep City Mattress in mind for future bedding needs and recommend Seth's expertise to anyone in search of a quality mattress.
