on Monday Dec. 28th 2020 we bought over $33.00 worth of the double smoked kielbasa which we have always bought. We had it today and it was the worst we have ever had!! the skin was so hard you could not chew it without difficulty and most of it we just peeled off and threw out. There was not a bit of juice in it at all very very dry, something must have gone wrong in the process. The day we were there the girl at the counter said it had just come out of the smoker and was to hot to put half of it in the vacuum seal. we said okay . Maybe something went wrong because of the Holliday or something, but it was a very big disappointment that was a lot of money to have such bad kielbasa. I called the store and the manager George said there was a mix up and they gave us some kielbasa that they were drying out for another customers charcuterie boards and to come in and he would make it right. I went in and he gave me new kielbasa and a $25 gift card for my trouble. The new kielbasa was very good as usual and I should have called the store first before writing a bad review and give them the option to make it right, in the future if I have a problem with a business I will call them...

Stopped today for bulk pork. The ladies at the counter are very aloof and do not say “hello” “goodbye” “thank you” or anything positive and appear put out to service the customer. I asked for 2 separate packages of pork and was given more than what I requested. Also, their price list on the counter is not consistent to what was verbalized when I asked the price of potato pancakes. I was charged .50 more per potato cake than what is printed on the price list. The little bit of money they overcharged will not break me, but the customer service is fair to poor. What a great place! My husband, my parents, and I came into Cleveland from Michigan to visit family, and we thought it might be fun to find some eastern European food for my mom (ok, I wanted to find it for me 😅). We could not have been happier that we stopped here. We brought back the Ukrainian potato salad, beet salad, and cabbage rolls, which were all fantastic... but the star of the show was the baked kiełbasa! We could not stop talking about how good it was. We're planning to come back as we leave town tomorrow, and we'll be trying to plan time to come by the next time we visit.
