We were misled about the durability of a custom oak dining set we bought, likely an honest mistake by a nice salesperson who didn't know wood as well as she thought, but the manager's handling of it earns 1 star. After a few weeks of light use I found that every chair was noticeably damaged where its back met the table edge. The manager told me that letting the chairs ever touch the table was 'not being gentle enough,' that it was bound to damage it, and that since it's real wood even dropping a spoon on it will very likely cause damage. It was a very different story than what we heard from the salesperson, who told us again and again that it would take an awful lot of force to damage, and showed us how you can stab the table repeatedly with a pen without making a scratch. Again, I think the salesperson honestly believed it all, and she was surprised to see what damage appeared from very light contact, but the manager never so much as apologized. She made it very clear it's my fault, an obvious inevitability if you allow any contact whatsoever, and that if I had asked her in detail about the chair's durability it wouldn't have ever occured to her to mention this. I hope the next time I buy furniture somewhere the salespeople will have enough expertise to think of issues like this when asked, and that if I purchase on bad information I'll get an apology from management at the very least, and preferably some attempt to make...

My husband and I had a great experience buying a sectional from Cleveland Furniture Company. The salesman let us explore the store on our own without following us around or making us feel uncomfortable or pressured (we’ve had negative experiences at other furniture stores in the past and we were worried about encountering aggressive salesmen). Occasionally he would walk past us while we were looking at something and he’d stop to show us a feature of that item or tell us about the fabric. Which was helpful and informative but did not come across like he was being pushy.

All of the prices were clearly marked for the items on the floor, including the sales prices. However, there was an additional sale/promotion going on when we stopped by, which meant that the sectional we purchased was over $1000 less than the original sticker price. The prices at this store in general were great, and we were pleased with both the selection and quality of furniture we found.

We were able to have our new couch delivered one week after we bought it, and the deliver was seamless. The two men that delivered the couch were very cautious about getting each piece of the sectional into our house and down into our basement safely, and they put the pieces together for us quickly and with care.

Do not purchase from here!!! We got a couch last year payed a lot of money for what looked like a really nice couch. We purchased the 5 year warranty with that too. Not even a month went by when the reclining seat were broken first one then second one then all three. We called them they said they will come fix it that was in July 2024. August they called back saying they will come in a month to see it. In September finally someone showed up too look at it. Then it was nothing for months I called in October and November and all they said was the parts are getting shipped. Finally it was December I was ready to get rid this couch and never see it again but they called back saying they will have someone come fix it in the next 3 weeks. A worker comes fixes it and finally we even forgot how the couch felt when we first bought it. However that didn’t last long no longer than a month later the reclining seats started to break again. It’s April we called them to get it fix since it hasn’t been a year since we bought it and even then we have the 5 year warranty. BUT NO they are saying the warranty is only good for one fix!
