Kroger — Local services in Pasadena

This is the store I used to work at the back in high school great place to work great place to shop i would come back here again......( Part 2) A lot has changed since I left that other review and I guess under the new management I guess you see me and my wife have fallen on a hard time losing my eyesight I've lost my income and my wife have to do things we normally don't have to do. sorry to say we get most of our meals out of the dumpster another homeless guy was there looking for something to eat too voice of the manager whoever called the cops on us we were doing nothing wrong with trying to get something to eat. It's embarrassing enough now we have to try to explain. Maybe if he spent the day losing his self-respect and self-worth might be a little more compassionate George people that are just trying to get something to eat.this store throws away good food that feeds a lot of the people around here they put a lock on the dumpster and now they call the cops on you for going to trust me I get it they have to take a stand then.on the other hand I don't get it because they waste thousands of dollars worth of food every day that can feed everybody but they choose to throw it in the trash and call the cops on you if you try to get anything out people around them starve then give it out to me just try to be a better way Great America we shouldn't go hungry the way we are everything that you have because you're trying to get something to eat I guess they would rather me go into side the store and steal something which is the completely against my belief I don't know I think there ought to be...

My husband and I have been shopping here since 1993. I've told my husband not to go in there anymore. We were shopping on a Sunday afternoon everybody's standing around that's supposed to work. My husband asked which register is open because there were 30 people behind us wondering the same thing. No lights were on this lady said I'm open my lights just not turned on yet. We got in her line and my husband asked her to turn the light on because other people were trying to figure out where to go. She started screaming at my husband and she said that if she was off she would meet him in the parking lot and take care of him. Her name was Roxanne. My husband talked to management later that week they did nothing. Fast forward one month my husband was shopping alone in the clearance section A lady came up to him and grabbed the can out of his hand. He told the lady I'll tell you what you can stick all this up your butt and he actually put his canned goods back in the clearance where she could have everything. He left the area and continue shopping. Then he was questioned by management about what he did. He was confused he said that lady grabbed my stuff they didn't believe him. He has moved his prescriptions out of that store and he's never going back to it. Is this the way Kroger likes to treat their long time customers. That's a shame because you have heroes like Sharon and Gary that work there that are awesome. I have never in my life seen a worker...

The pharmacist I know there's at least one man and one woman that are actual Pharmacists and the others are techs I believe I have had an excellent experience with them I had some medicine filled with them due to using the GoodRx because Walgreens was way more expensive for my medicine and because of such I've ended up transferring all my medicine to Kroger because they were so kind they've gone out of their way to help me save money through my GoodRx as well as they have a program of their own and you whichever one is cheaper instead of just giving it to you at whatever rate you know they actually go out of their way and that means a lot to me because that's kind of customer service I provide whenever I do my job thank you to all the employees that work there everyone's always been good to me years ago there was a lemonade day if you're not aware there's a lemonade day and my daughter and I set up a lemonade stand there at that store they allowed me to you and the response was wonderful and that was largely in part because Kroger allowed me to be there that was long time ago they recently grabbed my attention because of my medicine I've been shopping there ever since...
