I've been going to this establishment with my family for about 4 to 5 months. Today was the final straw. Our waitress was off the bat had a passive aggressive attitude I tried to keep the peace and play it off and be nice. Our food was given to us the salsa tasted like fridge. I had the California burrito and all the vegetables tasted like fridge it was disgusting. MARIANA is not a good waitress she needs an attitude adjustment. I know people go through so much but to act like every request was a hassle and she threw a finger up too me like I was a child.. I brought it up to the "managers" and they didn't know who was gonna deal with my formal complaint and nothing was done just a "sorry". Horrible establishment I would give 0 stars if I could...

First of all we have been eating here for many years and today unfortunately will be our last day. The menudo was great but the two plates we ordered was so disappointing, migas had cold/hard/greasy potatoes and the beans were not hot either, so I told her to take it and she asked can she microwave it and No was my answer we didn’t sit and wait for the entire order to get cold food, it is not safe for consumption. Also when my husband’s food came the same thing his potatoes were cold/greasy and hard, the only thing hot was the over easy eggs. So he went to take a bite of his barbacoa taco and the meat was cold. Very upset but just ask her to take it away. Then every time we talked to the waitress she just shook her head and didn’t speak to us anymore, and granted it was not her fault for the disgusting unsafe food. But we had to ask someone else for a coffee refill, and she forgot we asked for chips since we didn’t have any food to eat except menudo. After finishing we thanked her in English and Spanish and still was given the cold shoulder. And we are not bitter folks but we will for sure let our family and friends that visit this establishment about the unsafe cold, greasy, hard food and bad service only after sending our gross food back. And we said a prayer paid our check and yes left her a great TIP even though we were not satisfied. The place was almost empty, basically dead inside, and yet waiting for service took a long time, like refills or for the waitress to come back and ask if we are ready to order. That being said, they need to hire more waiters/waitresses.

My wife ordered some kind of chicken plate, it was OK, only the surface where the spices lay had flavor.

I ordered the birria tacos. I tried several from different establishments, and this one was OK, but not as good as the other ones.

The tacos themselves were good, no problem there whatsoever, but the consome had no flavor AT ALL. It looks great in the picture, but that’s all. The ones that do taste good , i will literally drink it all from the cup and not waste any. So that was a bit of a disappointment.

Rice was ok, but the charro beans were VERY good. Even the wife who is very picky with her food kept telling me how much she liked the beans. They had that very specific grainy texture, but the flavor was definitely on point.

All in all, it was OK, they charge $3.50 each for the mexican cokes. So between my wife and my baby who had a kids meal it came out to $45 ($12 was from the mexican cokes) .

I would not mind coming back, but with so many restaurants and taco trucks in the area, competition is very fierce for your mexican...
