The store owner seems to have made a policy change on the fly to his business today, 3/18/24. I stopped by his store with a backpack (which I usually bring as my shopping bag). I was greeted upon entering as usual, was in his store about 10 minutes, and it wasn’t until I was preparing to pay that he decided to bring it to my attention that I needed to leave the backpack at the entrance and not carry it around in the store. I told him that I’m not a “thief” and that I don’t feel comfortable leaving it at the entrance because someone could take off with it. He then replied, “I know you’re a nice guy but by you carrying a backpack might lead others to believe it’s ok.” The no-backpack policy is not posted anywhere in the store. Now mind you, I’ve been a customer at this store for years. They do make some good guacamole. Yet he’s never said anything about it until today. Pretty sad for him to think that by bringing my shopping bag backpack into the store, it might somehow attract shoplifters. So please, to anyone reading this, leave your backpack at home or you might fall into his stereotype. If his comment is out of fear, that’s what insurance is for. Zero stars for...

So guess the owner responded , to my review. I absolutely have never , ever been rude to them. BUT a few different times, been charged , the wrong prices AND no your prices are not , all labeled in front of your items !!!! Or why would i ask the price ??? Both your wife and you , have charged me wrong , and think i don't check my receipt or notice it. But yes i do , whether it is .10 cents or .25 cents , i do notice if i am charged wrong. You both , get mad , when i bring it up to you , so of course , after u got rude w me , for that , i got rude back. Do not charge wrong prices , be honest !!! And yes , i have my receipts to back it up ( and show them ) right after , the purchase. Regardless if a person , brings it up a day or two later , who cares , they aren't changing what's printed on receipt , it is on there to see , what is...

I have been going to this market for a few years BUT will probably stop going. The owners are rude and not honest. They have messed up , a few times on my receipt ( on purpose ) BUT get mad , when i have confronted them about it. I went last nite , spent about 67.00. But made the mistake , not asking prices ( beforehand ) and checking receipt right away , in front of him. I go tonite and he was so rude. Wouldn't tell me the price of a loaf a bread ,or another item. Basically he didn't want to hear it , and said i should of said something last nite ( and not come 2 or 3 days later !!! ) it was only last nite. Beware, they lie and will charge u more , even if its .25 cents or 2.00, they will try and do it !!!! Very dishonest. I love to support , local businesses , but not if they are rude...
