Welcome to Delizie Romane! A wonderful Italian Bakery that I purposely waited to Post this Review. To set the tone, I was fortunate to be at their "Soft" opening on February 7, 2025. The next day on February 8th, 2025 was in fact their Grand Opening (I was there too). These dates are important because they coincide when "conGelato" was opened in 2018. These are the same Owners who took Southern California by surprise with their incredible truly authentic ,Artisan,100% all natural ingredients Gelato. No pre-made Base or paste, (sorry Fabbri). However, I digress... today on National Ice Cream Day 2025 I just left Delizie Romane and they introduced that same Gelato for the 1st time. In a word: "EXSQUISITE". They offered Gelato today to celebrate 2025's National Ice Cream day, to accompany their pizza, croissants, Cheesecake and many other baked goods. You see Delizie Romane is an Italian Bakery. I am told by patrons their Cappacciono is amazing (I'm not a coffee drinker). They really have very good things to titilate even the most discerning palates. I assure you, you won't be disappointed. Cathy & Roberto hail from Italy 🇮🇹. Having legally migrated to the US many years ago they have stayed true to their roots in everything that they create. It's even in their name: Delizie Romane... their food is delicious! Roberto's mom even frequents the shop. Family owned, community supported and worthy of your consideration as well. Together we can assist their second endeavor to bring a little Italy to Pasadena. I endearingly refer to the shop as "conGelato2.0"; Delizie Romane is more than Gelato. It's a place to eat, relax and enjoy family and friends. Whether to get your day started or to cruise into your evening; Delizie Romane has something just for you. So I'll see you at "The Spot": Delizie...
Read moreI can't rave enough about Delizie. My husband and I happened to walk by on February 7th which was their soft opening. We have been looking for an authentic Italian spot to sit and enjoy a cappuccino and bomba on a Saturday/Sunday morning. My husband is the son of Italian immigrants and sitting at the bar, listening to the owners speak to each other takes us back to lazy Saturday mornings in Rome. The moment the door opens, we hear Buon Giorno and immediately feel at home. The coffee is wonderful, the bomba are superb, and the food is just like my mother-in-law makes. I have not found a single thing on the menu that I don't love.
We are so lucky to be able to walk here multiple times a week and always on the weekends.
Everyone that works there is always welcoming and warm. We will continue to frequent Delizie as often...
Read moreI’ve been hear twice in the last 10 days and it has become a favorite spot of mine.
The coffee is fantastic and today I had the good fortune of walking in to get one just as the Father was taking a focaccia from the oven. The smell of the bread immediately took me back to the small Italian bakery I frequented growing up in Santa Barbara. To this day I can smell freshly baked bread a mile away and it still brings me great joy.
I bought the focaccia and it was absolutely delicious. They told me they make there sandwiches with it and I cannot wait to try one. In fact a good friend told me he had recently had one and confirmed that they were outstanding.
Long story short a wonderful family owned place with a kind and welcoming staff. Please visit and support Delizie Romane. You will be...
