Up until today I loved this place but the manager with the pink hair is extremely rude. I have a small Esa dog and I haven't had an issue, and I have seen dogs there before. Today there was a large dog that came at my dog which caused him to bark. Pink hair (sorry don't know her name) approached angrily and asked if my dog was a service dog. I said he was Esa and she walked away. The large dog approached my dog again and he barked again and she told me she didn't believe my dog was Esa and I should leave. She accused my dog of attacking people. I told her it was the large dog that was there that approached my dog who she never spoke to. She rolled her eyes and walked away. A couple with a dog walked in and she said nothing to them as well. Another customer asked me why she was so aggressive with me when there were other dogs there but I had no response. I could understand if she asked other dog owners, but she didn't. I could also understand if she had an ounce of professionalism or customer service but she was just rude, aggressive and made me feel targeted. I have documentation that I carry for my dog but that wasnt the issue for her. Honestly after making false accusations she should have apologized not rolled her eyes, and she obviously didn't care about the other dogs. I know nobody there is going to pay attention to this but her behavior was not ok and she should not be allowed to talk to the public if she is going to be so...
Read moreJameson Brown is such an awesome, local coffee spot in Pasadena, south one block of the 210 Allen exit. I highly recommend supporting them by stopping by, picking something up, and or using their indoor and outdoor seating. Itâs great to see groups of 2-3 gather to meet and chat as well as others working or reading. Per the name and what youâll see inside to the back left of the entrance, they roast their own beans. Theyâve got some great specials and regulars on their menu. For example, some regulars are the Lavender Breve and Vienna Latte, alongside the basic/foundational coffee and espresso drinks. Similarly, the pastries are really tasty! The atmosphere is also really great, with hanging lights above the whole space and overall just a great, positive energy from the staff as well as other patrons. Not everyone (patrons) are always wearing masks at their table while not eating or drinking, despite small signs in each table that say otherwise, but the tables are more spread out than they were pre-covid. Iâm really glad this place is still rocking. Come see for yourself and tell...
Read moreAfter reading the reviews here, I decided to drive from Burbank to get a small roaster coffee. Well, after drinking coffee at world class places, I have to tell you I wasn't impressed with the coffee. Not bashing the staff or the ambiance, even though the staff was overwhelmed. You never, EVER, leave product open to the air. They had all of their wholesale product in barrels without any kind of cover over them. Sorry guys, but this is DISGUSTING seeing that it's an edible. The roast completely hid the taste of the beans, even though I had a light roast, then tried the medium roast and espresso, which were both meh. When you advertise as a small roast coffee shop, please remember taste is everything. Lastly, after receiving my credit card bill, an extra dollar was added to the bill. I always, ALWAYS tip in cash and not my CC to service workers to make sure they receive the tip. I would have just rated this a one star experience, but I appreciate the effort to at least open a shop to compete with the dirty sock tasting chain...
