CM Ghost Kitchen by Chef Maezaki — Restaurant in Pasadena

This place just opened not too long ago. It is a small place inside. Their food is "take out" only but there are some chairs inside where you can sit and eat. I believe it looks like a children table with 5 adult chairs.

Their bento boxes lunch special are only from 11:30a to 2pm.

I ordered the beef wagyu and salmon. For every bento box, it has a selection of either spicy tuna or california roll per order. It comes with a karaage chicken and gyoza with a tiny salad. There are condiments like soy sauce, sauce dish and lemon plus chopsticks.

The beef are tender. The salmon is cooked perfectly. The Gyoza is juicy inside. The roll is good but it seems there are more rice.

I would definitely go back to order some of the other food on the menu. Try this place out. You won't be...

I came to this restaurant for my lunch break, I thought the fish might be mid but after I try the Salmon sushi bowl ITS SO SO SO GOOD! The person at the front like wears like ash is such a nice guy, but words back to the food, the salmon at this restaurant is so fresh AND IMPORTANT PART every each pieces are all so fat and delicious! I ordered a Tiramisu for dessert and BOOM! It’s so tasty too! I don’t really comment for restaurants that much but this one is really a good choice for you if you need some sushi for your meal! It’s not so fancy but so friendly and cute place, it’s like found a gold from a random place...

As a former sushi chef with years behind the knife, I don’t throw around compliments lightly—but CM Ghost Kitchen in Pasadena absolutely blew me away.

The quality of the fish here is simply outstanding. Each piece is pristine, fresh, and handled with care. You can immediately tell the sourcing is top-notch

And let’s talk about the rice—a detail too many overlook. These guys nails it. Perfect temperature, seasoned just right, and holding together without being gummy. That’s the mark of a true sushi operation.
