I recently stopped by the Patagonia store in Pasadena this past Thursday, February 6. I previously called the store a few weeks ago to see if I could get store credit on 2 items that I bought for my husband. He never wore it and I had the receipts but it didn’t have tags. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone said it’s okay and to come in. So on Thursday I spoke with Jessica and she told me she could not honor the store credit because the items were 2 years old. I told her that I spoke with someone and they stated that I could. She still insisted that I couldn’t. So I went to the back register to talk to someone else and double check that that is the store’s policy. As I was speaking to Ryan, which he stated he would help me, Jessica comes running from the front and tells me that I could not do it. She was so rude and disrespectful, acting like a manager which I later learned that she is just a team lead. I just received the rudest customer service and so I left and called the Patagonia store in Santa Monica and they graciously helped me out with my items for store credit.

Read moreWOW!!! What a pleasure to stop by this Patagonia store today and to get help from Miguel here!
My old R1 hoody that lasted me the better part of a decade (RIP as you get recycled for another garment) had a zipper lining that was coming undone so I grabbed a reservation for a repair request (grab one online for these COVID times) and arrived this morning.
Miguel here expertly informed me of every option I had available for a repair, but also kindly let me know that with all the wear that my R1 had I could get a replacement in store. (thanks to Patagonia’s Iron Clad warranty!) So, instead of an 18-week repair turnaround, (COVID times) I walked out with a new hoody in hand to last me the next decade to come! He took the time to help me find the best 1-for-1 exchange and I couldn’t be happier!
Thanks so much for your warmth and...
Read moreThe workshop on the proper care and repair of waterproof shells led and staffed by Ian, Heather and Jon and Amy was excellent. They were personable, knowledgeable, and well prepared. My friend and I had a fantastic time with these neat people: an excellent and much needed example of good folks contributing to the building of strong community. Ten out of ten. We were so impressed that we were motivated to offer to volunteer ourselves at future events. A special thanks to Jon for sharing his knowledge on the technical aspects of selecting shells, to Heather and Ian on their care and for the whole team for their...
