I go to another Catholic Church but went to this one because the time of confession. I came to confess and the priest told me stay for the Spanish mass at 7. At the end of mass, the priest stated something is always breaking down in the church and he jokingly said that the church is cursed (embrujada) which I thought that was so disrespectful to God being this is his house. I feel the priest should repent from saying this. Second, during my confession I told him I was mad at God because he did not heal my brother. He told me rudely “, Why should God listen to you?” I told him , “God has always listened to me”. To which he really didn’t give a response, God listens and hears our prayers because he loves us. His response was not helpful. Another thing, I did not like was what he asked my son during confession . My son confessed that he says bad words and is sometimes lazy. Then the priest proceeded to ask, “do you watch porn?” My son said no because I’ve taught him how bad it is. Why would he just ask this question out of the blue, it was not even a follow up question? To the priest, that did confessions on 8-23-25 YOU should be ashamed of yourself. By asking the question about porn, you might put a seed of curiosity in some youngsters mind and that might lead to sin. You are not an interrogator and should not pry for details. You should listen to one’s sin and offer guidance not assume that other unrelated sins are being committed when the confessor has not even given you...
