We occasionally go to this restaurant and it's pretty good. For breakfast I love to order migas with cheese and cream they are really good. I also really enjoy their enchiladas, they are not greedy with the cheese. The green salsa they have and the chips they bring out are also very good. The only thing about this place is the waitresses are not that friendly that's the only down side.

We visit this restaurant a lot even though is 35 miles from our house, food is delicious, pancakes, enchiladas, chile reyenos, chilaquiles, flower tortillas. I can go on on food is just amazing. Been going there for over 10 years one of our favorites for Mexican restaurants.

The food was very good. I came here for lunch with coworkers. I got the alambre, and it was delicious. The salsa and chips are good too. Only down side is, yes the waitress was a little short with us. I'm seeing that's a trend though with the other reviews.

This is still a good restaurant, but today I left the place under the impression of being overcharged. It went from 40 to 44 and then tax. So basically, the cashier added 4.00 as a tip. I encourage this business not to fall into this bad practice. Customers notice and take note. Besides tips are earned by giving good service, and not hidding it into the bill. Still good food, just a questionable practice.

Taqueria Azucena, formerly Los Monteros, is a little restaurant across Food Town that serves good quality typical mexican dishes(not Tex-Mex). Here you can find Menudo, tampiqueña, alambres and my favorite, seafood soup. Tortillas are hand made. They also serve the traditional Mexican breakfast with coffee everyday. Service is quick although when it gets crowded would take longer than expected but is worth the wait. This restaurant has been going through some remodeling and I feel they should keep remodeling to get to the next level. Taqueria Azucena is a good choice if you want to have Mexican food made from scratch. Do not expect anything luxurious here just good food and...

went this morning to pick up some Menudo and posole. It was so scorching hot that melted through the Styrofoam cup, and the top the plastic top of the container in which they put my food in. I mean, who puts scolding hot soup in a Styrofoam cup. I called them to complain about it. They made me talk to like three people, and then said they still had to talk to the manager to see what they could do for me. It’s ridiculous. I would never go back there again. these people Too stupid to know how to pack things so no thank you! Word of warning if you go pick up Menudo or post and bring your own container, cause it will be all in your car before...

I ordered some Chilaquiles from there once and they came out good so I chose to go again and order some again. But I’m assuming they changed cooks?? The chilaquiles were basically tortillas soaked in red salsa instead of cooking in in Chile rojo.. they came out super spicy and sour, it was so hard to eat. I called to let them know because I spent money to eat my meal and it was not edible at all.. and they responded with “okay? And idk what do you want us to do about it? “ Well I’m calling Bc I wouldn’t want somebody else to spend money on this and can’t...
