Food Town — Local services in Pasadena

This place is horrible. And I want to shine some light on the prices. First of all the location is falling apart every time I have gone there in the past I’ve seen it get worse and worse this last time was the last time. It was leaking some black stuff from the ceiling they don’t ever repair the buildings it’s just falling down. Now about the pricing when you go to Kroger‘s or HEB even Walmart I know prices have gone up but at this location they are unreasonable. The Velveeta at Kroger‘s H-E-B in Walmart is about $7.99. At this Food town it is $9.19. Outrageous bread every single loaf of bread that they have in that store for sale except for one is over three dollars. The problem I have also is it is right next to an apartment complex where Some people don’t own vehicles to go to the store. I feel like this is price gouging and the store should be shut down. Great store, great customer service, it was clean compared to some Food Town stores I have visited. Some of the food was a bit pricey such as I can't believe it's not butter was over $9.00. A gallon of regular 2% milk was priced over $5.00. They did have 3 different brands that started off at $2.99-$5.00. Eckrich smoked sausage was $9 for the fat links. I did get a meaty pork roast for $13. So some stuff was priced at a great price then other stuff not so much.
