Sunday November 7, 2021.
Of all the Goodwills in throughout the Tri-Cities, the Pasco Goodwill, the one by Andy's North has always been my favorite. This is no longer the case after the experience I had on a Sunday evening in early November 2021. A friend and I stopped by there about 6:40 pm and we knew they would be closing at 7:00 pm. We have been regular customers for many years and often shop there a couple of times a week. When we pulled up there were still lights on and a couple of clerks inside I got up to the door and realized at that moment that the doors were already locked. At this point there was still one clerk in plain site behind a register so we waited for her it was clear she saw us. After another five minutes she finally started walking towards us and the door but then at the last minute she switched direction on us and was walking away from the door and suddenly all the lights went off inside the building. We are now freezing from the cold and just ticked, how rude. I looked a bit closer at the signs posted on their doors there were two separate signs each with different closing times, one for 7;00 pm and another for 8:00 pm but regardless it was not even 6:50 pm yet. We tried to call the business number but nobody answered. I want to add that I have sent and/or inquired about assistance for the homeless, etc. and the responses I received and people I referred were very vague. I also feel their prices are steep considering the items condition. For instance most of the time I can get the same item for up to fifty percent less on clearance at most retailers and have. I wish I could say Goodwill Pasco is the only business that is slacking with their overall customer service and regular business hours sadly this is just not the case. This Goodwill has also become more rigid then most department stores when it comes to returns and lets face it folks none of their products sold are even new. I cannot help but notice Post-Covid, poor customer service and erratic business hours have become the new normal and it seems to be wide spread within our community. I plan on reviewing honestly on the good, the bad and the ugly our local businesses are consistently showing our community and their customers. Please join me with calling out the great businesses that provide excellent and reliable customer service with regular business hours along with the businesses that have become shoddy and make us feel as customers that we are a nuisance to them. I hope to find many more positive businesses than the negative regardless. Thank-you and...
Read moreI was coming here for sometime but have stopped because it was just trashy inside and prices were really weird. Went in today to kill some time and the place was still a mess. Itâs got a layer of not keeping it clean you can almost taste it the air even, wear gloves! I feel like they donât think they have to clean up parking lot because even in high winds thereâs still dead birds embedded in the asphalt and so much trash its into-woven in the barren little bark islands. The line was long and I waited only 5 min and it didnât move, with 6 in front of me hence the beer glass was left behind, bummer I liked it. Which brings up another funny point of human laziness. When you get to front of store to check out you see much of the same stuff in back of store skewed upon the lowers shelves where most Goodwills sell new stuff, candy and soda this one and one is Kennewick is the same, just has junk all over that shelf you leave stuff on because the line is to long, yea there. That is a mess also. So all the returns and a suff never gets restocked they just let it build up in front of store. Hermiston does this also. Never see this in Goodwill stores on west side or many other places I visit in US. Itâs a regional thing so it looks like...
Read moreFirst I called and asked for directions to the place and no one could tell me the address to the store or how to get there and had an attitude the whole time and then proceeded to hang up on me. So I called back and the same lady answered and asked another lady employee to answer my questions in which she also couldnât do with an attitude and was trying to basically rush me off the phone. Then I found the store by myself and just went in there a few seconds and the lady at the front door had a stinky attitude again and with that attitude proceeded to tell me how oh they close in 15 mins just to let me know she says. Then I was only coming in for a bike and the bikes looked awful imma be honest but to be expected cause itâs goodwill but the problem that I also had was the bikes were 79.99 and 100.00 for a used and torn up bikes. Just so much disappointment and mark my words I will never return here again....
