Madrag — Local services in Paterson

I stopped in here one day after work out of curiosity and wow! First off, the display of the Clothes were beautiful. They were styled so beautiful too. The first thing I noticed was how clothes weren’t all over the place. At “other” similar stores...the store front and the store itself isn’t up to par or nearly as beautiful as this particular madrag store is. Also the associates were all working (either hanging up clothes, or helping shoppers and not on their phones) I work in customer service so this was major for me. I asked the young lady with the shaved head & glasses (sorry I didn’t ask for your name) for some assistance to help me find a leopard belt that was on display. Unfortunately it was the only one left...I HAD TO HAVE IT. The young lady helped me without any attitude and she was actually happy to help me. She took it off display with slight struggle but it was a laughable moment for us both. I thanked her and continued shopping. Now, what I didn’t know was how all of the clothes in Madrag Paterson were super cute! Shoutout to the buyer for the store. With that being said, I was walking around with belts, one pair of boots, one pair of heels, a hat, a sweater, a faux fur coat, and body suit...basically struggling (lol). The store manager (Latina with blonde hair) helped me carry my items to the register. That was so nice of her! She was really nice! Funny thing is...despite having all of those items I wasn’t done shopping (I know, lol) She said she’ll keep my things behind the register so I can finish shopping. How thoughtful and friendly she was. I ended up spending way more than I should’ve but it was worth it. I spend in places that are customer friendly. I was in my work uniform looking insane, but they didn’t judge me, follow me around the store, or stare. Instead all of the woman in the store were helpful, they looked like they wanted to be at work and cheerful. Thank you madrag Paterson. I’ll be back in a few...

I happened to wander in after seeing a pocketbook in the window. I have never seen such a polite, caring staff. They wanted to hell me shop, spoke when I came in, and explained the policy at check out. Prices are great! Even if I didn't find anything, which I found several items, I'll be back because of the customer service alone. They truly know how to make you feel special.

Excellent selection of clothing options. Wok, party, casual etc. Women's and Plus-size clothing. Some items are initially overpriced but the clearance section is very good. Also good for make up, perfume,...
