I would like to inform you that I had a really bad, inconvenient and very frustrating experience today at this test center. As I was called to be administered to the test today, the person who’s in charge of the admission process informed me that I don’t have a valid ID, even though I had both my valid Employment Authorization Card and a supplemental valid ID (New Jersey) Driver license as the man at the test center said that I have to have either a valid passport or a green card in order to accept me to sit for the exam. I tried to explain to him that on your website it said if I’m not a citizenship of the United States and taking the test inside the United States, I can provide my EAD along with a supplemental ID, and I showed him this information on ETS website from my phone but still he refused this, (the link that I attached below shows this information explicitly). I explained to him that I provided these information on my original application after a careful review of the ID requirement and also after speaking with an ETS representative and not until I was sure that both my EAC and State’s driver license will work just fine, I explained further that, I didn’t provide my passport information because it has the wrong date of birth on it which was a mistake done by my government, I further explained that I don’t have a green card either, but he refused to listen to me and all that he told me is I’m not going to take the exam and I will not going to get my money back either. All students went inside to take the exam except me, he treated me very rude and told me to sit outside until further notice, I called my parents to get my passport from home to the test center, I live in Morristown which is about 40 minutes away from the test center, I informed the person what if I call and let my parents bring my passport so he can see by his own eyes, he answered back that it’s fine but you’re going to miss the exam anyway. I called my home and my parents came in around 10:30 AM; the exam started at 10 AM. I had to run about 3 miles to take the passport from them since they were caught up in a rush in the neighboring street; I took the passport and ran the whole way back too. After I reached to the center and provided the man with my passport, he started to take the information from the passport and then informed me that it has the wrong date of birth. I explained to him that he didn’t listen to me at all, because I told him the whole story from the beginning and I informed him multiple times that this is my situation and this is the reason that I used my EAD and Driver License. After so much arguments between me and him, he then decided that he is going to admit me to the test, he informed me that we’ll talk later after the exam. I was very devastated and stressful I almost felt that he played me the whole time wasted my time and wasted my family’s time and threatened me that I’m not going to take the exam and I won’t have any refund. After a very difficult long 3 months preparing for this test and this happens to me?

Read moreRight just took TOEFL Test here. This is my second time of taking it. The first time was in different place. What can I say positive about this place.... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Firstly, when u enter the building there is an elevator in front of u, but this damn thing does not work. Thanks God this office was on second floor. Secondly, when u get inside the actual office everything looks so freaking old. Somewhere u can even see wires or some walls just broken. Thirdly, there were only two women that were checking us in (10-14 students). It took about an hour to do this damn thing. Another stuff could help to do anything faster. Fourthly, they do not have lockers where u can put ur things. Not a big thing, but still I prefer to put it there. 6, the room for taking the rest was so small and hot inside that I had to take off my vest and hoodie. I was kinda sweaty during all the test. 7, there was a classroom right he next wall from us. We heard all the damn thing they were talking about. This started to happen during we had reading part - one of the most difficult - as for me. We asked our stuff to ask their teacher to chill out and be not so loud. Well, didn’t work out. They were clapping and laughing. How can u possibly take an exam and her all the voices next to u? 8, don’t want to be racist or this kinda guy, but when in ENGLISH CENTER all the people and stuff members speak Spanish and some of them can’t even normally speak English, feels weirdly for me. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. CHOOSE DIFFERENT ONE. SOEND 30 MINUTES ON TRANSPORTATION BUT IT WILL...
Read moreDear Uceda Institute Family,
When I first began studying English with you, I could hardly speak or understand the language. With your guidance, patience, and support, I was able to improve step by step. Today, I am proud to say that I am working as a Teacher Assistant, and I know your contribution to this journey has been essential.
Uceda Institute was never just a school for me—it truly felt like a family. I always came with joy and motivation. I especially want to thank my dear teacher Mercedes, who gave me not only the knowledge I needed but also the warmth of a mother. I am also deeply grateful to Teacher Kevin and German for their important role in my learning.
Through your lessons, I developed my vocabulary, grammar, and communication skills, and I learned to express myself more confidently in English. The materials and methods you used made learning both effective and enjoyable. Each step forward in my language ability was thanks to your dedication and effort.
I would also like to extend my thanks to Esthel, Jenny, and Stephanie, who welcomed us every day with kindness, patience, and a smile. Your encouragement and support always motivated me.
Where I stand today, taking this important step in my life, I know your efforts played a huge role. Thank you sincerely for helping me open this new chapter.
With love and...
