I went on vacation on 05-15-25 and came back on 05-31-25 to find my internet service was terminated mind you payment was up to date when I called optimum customer service they said I called to move my service to a different address. I was out of the country and did not contact anybody for this. They realized they made a mistake and instead of apologizing and finding a prompt solution they told me that I have to re apply and wait between 48 to 36 hrs to get services for their mistake now I got no internet service. The customer service although respectful lacks professionalism. Instead of lying to customers they did wrong they should own their mistake and work to solve their issues. In this case it’s too late I’m waiting for Verizon to come install their equipment. Since I called 4 times even ask to speak with a supervisor about 20 times and was never provided with one instead was transfer to another department to get more excuses and no resolve. The woman who we ended up talking to for our situation, Robin, was extremely kind and helpful. She tried her best to understand our situation, and was just a good mood overall. She was very attentive whilst being efficient, getting to and resolving our 3 issues within 30 minutes. She even offered to get us all a water free of charge, and I watched as she offered another woman who was about to leave for one an ice cold water from out the back.
