Uturn for Christ Thrift Store — Local services in Payson

This thrift store holds a special place in my heart. I met a young man who wanted to share the message of Jesus Christ, God, and the Bible that he had learned after being in a severe automobile accident. U-Turn for Christ offers a safe transition for addicts who are trying to stop using and find a new way to live. He was very helpful when he worked in the store and they were always busy. I told Robert and the shop owner if Robert needed somewhere to rent he could rent from my family. We were able to get him into a program that covered his expenses. I took him in and made him part of my family. This store is supporting those in need and their recovery program is supporting those that need it. The profits made by their disposal of waste collected by the good deeds these young men do should go towards helping them succeed as well as others in financial hardship within the community. My first time visiting the store. Had to witness the person behind the counter ridiculing two other employees today 12/19/24 4pm over missing totes.

The shame in this is that there were two customers in the room to hear this man’s verbal abuse of the employees. He threatened them with a “SA” write-up of some sort.

This person was aggressive in his speech and had no grace or forgiveness in his approach to resolve the missing tote issue. He just wanted to speak authority over others and it didn’t matter what those gentlemen had to say the person behind the counter was going to make sure they and everyone else in the store knew he was a boss.

My expectation was that UTurn for Christ meant it had something to do with helping others thru Christ our Lord. Not here,...

I made a purchase from them and was told "works great". Turns out it didn't work at all and was missing major parts! I tried for 3 weeks to contact them but they do not answer the phone or return calls. I finally after many attempts to call and also go into the store I was able to speak with someone about the problem. I was told at that point I could return it and get my money back but he was very rude and they also lied about what had happened. I will never go back into that store again! Very bad business and horrible customer service! They get one star only because I don't think it will...
