Oh man, I just gotta rave about The Shroom Room! This place is a dream come true, and Iâm throwing all five stars at it like Iâm tossing confetti at a mushroom-themed party! đâ¨
Walking into The Shroom Room is like stepping into a cozy, quirky wonderland where mushrooms are the rockstars! The vibe? Pure magic. The staff are like your best pals, super warm and ready to guide you through their menu of mushroom-infused drinks and goodies. I got their lionâs mane matcha with oat milk, and lemme tell you, itâs like a hug from the universe in a cup. Itâs not just tastyâitâs like sipping on a little divine connection, giving my brain and soul a high-five.
Iâm a total mushroom nerd, and this place gets it. Theyâre all about those superfood shrooms, like reishi and cordyceps, that make you feel like youâre vibing with nature on a whole other level. Itâs not just coffee or teaâitâs a spiritual experience, like the mushrooms are whispering ancient wisdom to your taste buds. Plus, the gift shop? Obsessed! I snagged a cute mushroom pin and some local artisan stuff thatâs basically screaming âtake me home!â
The patio is perfect for chilling with a view of Paysonâs heart, and the whole place just radiates good energy. Itâs like theyâve bottled up the forestâs soul and served it with a smile. If youâre in Payson, you HAVE to stop by The Shroom Room. Itâs a mushroom loverâs paradise, and Iâm already counting down the days till Iâm back for another cup of that divine shroomy goodness!    Read moreListen, if youâre in Payson and havenât been to The Shroom Room, what are you even doing with your life? Because this place isnât just a coffee shop, itâs a whole vibe. The moment I walked in, I felt like I had stepped straight into a retro movie, half expecting Judd Nelson to be brooding in the corner while a John Hughes soundtrack played softly in the background. Itâs effortlessly cool, nostalgic, and dripping with personality.
Now, letâs get to the real star of the show: the Payson 5K. This isnât your basic, run-of-the-mill coffeeâitâs an experience. Earthy, bold, and beautifully balanced, every sip had me questioning why Iâve ever settled for mediocre coffee before. Itâs the kind of drink that doesnât just wake you upâit elevates you. If coffee were an Olympic sport, this blend would be standing on the podium, gold medal in hand.
And as if the coffee and the ambiance werenât enough, enter Kegan, the manager and absolute queen of customer service. Sheâs warm, engaging, and makes you feel like youâve been besties for years. The kind of person who doesnât just take your order but makes sure your soul is caffeinated and your mood is lifted.
The Shroom Room is a must-visit. Whether youâre in it for the aesthetic, the killer coffee, or just a place to escape the real world for a bit, this spot delivers. Get yourself a Payson 5K, soak in the retro magic, and...

The best way I can describe the atmosphere is strange. Itâs a very old cabin, with two stories, complete with various mushroom supplements and memorabilia. The staff actually wasnât very friendly though! The girl taking our order had a bit of an attitude.
They have a wide menu of mushroom-infused coffees, teas, and even some lunch items. They offer 7 types of mushrooms, with a form explaining their supposed health benefits. They also sell their own mushroom powder. I donât know if mushrooms truly have health benefits or itâs more of an MLM type thing, but I was interested.
I tried the Golden Cacao, a non-coffee drink with turmeric and I added Reishi Mushroom. My Dad got a Coffee with all 7 mushrooms. Mine was just okay, not worth $9, and you could really taste the mushroom. My Dad also noted that his coffee was mediocre.
To me, this feels more like a money grab than an actual health store. I donât think Iâd be back anytime soon,...
