I purchased a Element 50" TV online for the $1 down and seemed like a decent deal. However, we have had bd experience with the Store in Pearl MS before for my disabled son's bed. In which the district supervisor had to intervene. I called a couple days later to ask about whether it was in stock or not and they told me it was in stock. I asked if I could pick it up because there where no deliveries available till Saturday. The young lady(no name), said they had to deliver our first order even though we had picked up before So I said OK and they said it would be after 2pm and again I said that would be fine. At 6pm on Saturday(the day of my delivery), I asked about the status and the lady(manager) said it was scheduled for Monday afternoon. I told her that I had stayed around the house since 2pm waiting so that's why I called. I told her I sure hope that this type of service would not be expected. She said why would you say that? I said I thought there were new folks there and I wouldn't have problems. She exclaimed.."Oh we know who you are the guy that returned merchandise so badly damaged that we had to throw it away!. And we all still here. A miracle that Aaron's would keep such folks that re rude to customers. How embarrassing. Why would a manager or even an associate say any such thing. My son was disabled and we waited for 3 Months for service on the bed and then they tell me that the "service guy" isnt there anymore. So throwing that disaster in my face AGAIN after I try and give Aaron's one more chance is beyond unacceptable. I would like to speak to somebody over the region of this store. I had been in the furniture business with Heiling Meyers for years and was district service manager and NEVER would have spoken to a customer like that. I would expect an apology for the way I was treated. Everything in our house has been from Rent A Center and they re so nice and professional and easy to work with on purchases. My mistake but Aaron's had a good price. Look I've paid off plenty of items with Aaron's in the past not cheap items either. But I'm not go to be belittled on the phone or any other way. I sure hope you turn this store around and address customer service skills with your staff. Oh and I asked to cancel the whole order and she actually said "Thank you! We will be glad to do that!" Do not shop here or be...
Read moreMy wife and I have had a very horrible experience with Aarons in pearl. We ARE purchasing a dryer refrigerator and stove from them. From day one the dryer handle has been broken. The manager says it's no problem we'll order you one . So we gave it a week and went by , much to our surprise there's been no handle ordered he says we'll get it ordered so 2 weeks from then we go in to make our notes (as we do faithfully) there is still no dryer handle and we are told again we'll order you one ...it's been the same thing for 4 months now exact same experience and now it's the last note to pay the dryer off and still no handle ...the guy told my wife bend a clothes hanger and use it for a handle I'm missing a huge chunck of meat from my thumb where it cut me ...so it was broke from day one and these guys expect me to pay it off broken i suppose ...very very poor customer service I will shop elsewhere for our next purchases ...very unsatisfied customer~...
Read moreMy husband and I have been customers of Aaron's for about three years now and never had any issues with the company until we moved to Pearl... The staff is extremely rude (to us at least, not sure why, we've been nothing but polite since day 1)... and whenever my husband calls to make arrangements with them regarding anything (payments, delivery, questions about products, etc), it NEVER gets noted so he either A) never receives information and becomes frustrated and uninterested in whatever Aaron's is offering or B) gets 87 phone calls in one day (at work, AFTER HE HAS ASKED TIME AND TIME AGAIN TO NOT BE CONTACTED AT WORK... that's why they have TWO cell phone numbers on file...). This whole experience at Pearl has just been a huge headache and thank goodness it's tax season because our account will be paid off and closed. See you later, Aaron's; you will...
