HORRIBLE customer service is at this location. Im unsure if its bc the majority of the staff were young (looked college aged) or what, but not one of them were courteous. At checkout a young black girl wouldnt even look me in the eye-she began bagging herself and i said "can i help? he left you all alone huh?" trying to make light of the situation and she didnt even look up at me. i said "thank you" prbably 4 times before, during and after checkout and not one acknowledgement. Prior to that, I had gone down the toothpaste isle, after (i guess a stock guy) had been riding my heels i said "excuse me" and he rshed by to talk smack to another (young)girl who was also counting or something. while i was inbetween them they proceeded to argue back and forth (playfully, however not professional at all) who was "more angry" and "rude and moody" that morning. I stopped to check my grocery list just as the girl decided to begin pushing her cart and i quickly stopped myself and said "sorry, excuse me" she didnt reply, so i turned to see if i was still in her way and she was rolling her eyes (dont know if it was directed towards me or not) to the tall young white guy as i walkedoff the isle. as i was leaving i was pushing my basket towards the front and saw a young black man coming towards me for the cart, i (again playfully said) "perfect timing" and "thank you" and again...no response or acknowledgement.
I will most likely never go back to this store location, and I can hopefully prevent my husband and our friends from doing the same bc whats the point in spending money somewhere when its not even cordial?
I'm in my 6th year with a major marketing firm and i manage 15 staff memebers, ranging in age from 18 to 62. It would be completely unacceptable for any of my staff (in my customer service department with accounts like Chevron, Shell, Exxon) to even give the impression of apathy and disregard for a customer, in a customer service setting.
And it was baffling bc I could have sworn I heard announced (repeatedly) over the loud speaker that there was an evaluation or staff meeting...
Read moreIt's always something with this store. I can never go in and be at peace. They NEVER have their shelves stocked. Customer service and the checkout clerks are normally accommodating to the lack of proper pricing being loaded based on sales details however on 4/21/18 Cashier ID Chec 503 decided she wanted to decide what was on sale and what wasn't regardless of the signage in the store or on the digital coupon. She said... if it's not $2.49 it's not apart of the .99 coupon special (as she stood on the floor drinking her coffee). So she voided out the ones SHE deemed not on sale and walked off saying, you can go and pick something else out... but didn't I pick THOSE OUT SO THAT MEANS THAT WAS MY SELECTION. I went back to the aisle to take pictures and show her. Upon return I showed her the pictures especially the raisin bran having a sign RIGHT UNDER IT... she still argued and then said you know what, I don't have the time to argue, where is it... I said idk, you told me no and took it away. She gets it and overrides the system (which she could've done in the beginning). I now have 4 out of boxes and still paying full price for one (and now the coupon is missing so I can never get my 5th box) but again she didn't have time and needed to get back to her cup of Joe so I gave up but let me say this Krogers... you can look up my order history, I spend alot of money when NO ONE in texas really cares about you... it's all about HEB here which don't require "coupons" I made a choice to support a business I grew up on but this customer service pushed me ALL THE WAY AWAY. I hope Chec 503 is worth the headache she gives your loyal customers. She should never be customer facing... I asked for a manager and she said no manager is on site yet (which is another lie, if it's the truth shame on krogers again letting the kids play with no parent supervision). HEB, here I come... me and all my...
Read moreCustomer Service I received was Horrible. I work as a Shipt contractor and was there at 11:45a and order was due by 12 noon. First I was told by a male that he was working alone and he would have my customers order out asap. After 10 min passed I called back which a lady named Taylor answered so I asked was the order ready if not I’ll come back. She rudely told me that they are waiting for a paper to be printed and that they have until 12 which it’s now 11:55. She goes on and on about the paperwork which I say OK and hung up the phone. 2 min later which it is 11:57 she comes out the store saying what’s your name what’s your name so I ask why is the order ready? But she had no groceries just a whole bunch of attitude. So me being confused I go inside and ask to speak to a manager because why would she storm to my window with no groceries asking for my name. I go inside speak to The Store Manager (which I see more than one person working on curbside) about the order and tell him what’s going on. He did not take me or my customers needs in consideration at all. After telling him what’s going on he says that she is the manager of curbside pick up and she would have a problem issuing my order so I need to cancel my customer because they will not be issuing the order to me. They completely had no remorse that they wasted my time, gas, and my customers time. After I went on about how I need to get the order to my customers the manager says just cancel the order it’s not yours anyway that I was just a third party vendor. Mind you I’m pregnant and they both made this situation very stressful for me! He went on to say that I was not a customer but I as well shop from Krogers but after this incident I will no longer be shopping there! HEB has better prices and customer...
