Jax Burger Fries & Shakes — Restaurant in Pearland

Searched eatery within walking distance to accommodate a 30 min lunch. Used the maps to pull up website and went thru the steps to locate the closest location to my job. When arriving to restaurant was informed that store doesn’t offer online so it was for another location. After explaining this was my one biweekly treat to myself for a good meal could the order be transferred. Was told I could call other location and they could refund and I could re order in person where I was. When calling the other store they refused to cancel the order as they have done with other patrons as told to me by the employee. They refused to transfer the order. They refused to allow me to pick up a new order after work unless they left it in a warmer for over 5 hours and that’s the best they could do. The employee expressed this happens all the time and they have never given anyone else a problem. Never will I spend $16 at an establishment who has no regard for customer service and solutions for pre existing problems to financially gain without delivering the product as if anyone has money to waste these days. Their unwillingness to acknowledge an ongoing system error and nonchalance towards the situation is the root cause that I will be sharing with anyone to Also not support this business. There are a multitude of options for food choices making it unnecessary to except unsavory business practices. The website offers catering mobile food truck and curbside service and they did not utilize any of those options to resolve the problem. A waste of $9 burger and $4.25 fries. I only had time to order a cheese chili fry to have some kind of lunch and it was okay at best with an additional $6 cost. Definitely...

Stopped by on Election Night to order the Frito Pie and 4 Chicken Tenders.

First, for some reason the server Mr. Hector E. was quite sharp with me. As if I was bothering him by placing my order. Wasn't friendly at all. I thanked Hector for taking my order and he said nothing. When my food was ready he just put on counter and said "here you go" and went back to the kitchen area. The only time I was thanked was when I put money in the tip jar and it was from another lady not serving me.

The Chicken Tenders were good. I did not get the Honey Mustard I asked for. Hector E. wasn't paying much attention to me so he must have missed me asking for it.

The Frito Pie was extremely dry. 40% of the pie was dry chips. Wasn't enough chili or cheese to spread evenly throughout the pie.

Disappointed.

The 3320 Broadway location has much better...

I tried the location at Broadway & Cullen a few weeks ago, and was sadly disappointed. Customer service was not good, I couldn’t tell who was supposed to take my order as workers were aimlessly walking around. Our burgers were ok, but not great. The fries & onion rings were so old tasting and greasy we ended up throwing most of it in the trash. I ordered a kids cheeseburger for my daughter and got home with chicken strips instead. She didn’t like her food either. I spent about $40 for food that mostly went in the trash. Very disappointing, not sure if I got the “weekend crew” with people not wanting to do their jobs or what, but I wouldn’t waste my time and...
