12/16/2023- went into this restaurant with my son. Ordered a cheeseburger for my son. For me, I told the waiter all I wanted was a plate with chicken and beef fajita. I told him I don’t eat shrimp or pork for religious reasons. I also told him that I don’t want the refried beans cause I was told before that it’s made with pork lard. He offered that I can get extra rice instead, to which I agreed. By the time my food came I had eaten a lot of the chips, that I was full. I took a strip of the beef and wrapped it in half of one of the tortilla shell and ate that. I called to the waiter for a to go bowl. I told him that I think I ate too much chips and I’m full, While I’m putting food into plate, I saw there was fish and and a different kind of meat under all the onions. So I called to the waiter and asked him if this was fish and what was the other meat? He said yes that was fish and he thinks the other was pork. I said to him but i told you all I wanted is beef and chicken and I explained to you that I don’t eat pork or shrimp or quail. I told him you came back and confirmed that all I wanted was chicken and beef. He said yes you did, but I didn’t know that they had put pork and fish on there. He asked if I wanted to speak to the manager, to which I said yes. The manager came and I explained. He said well this is what you othered so you have to pay for it. I said that is not what I ordered. All I asked was for a fajitas plate with just chicken and beef. We went back and forth, with him not even offering a solution. I told him I bearly ate the food and I can’t even take it home, because of the other meats on there I don’t eat. He did not offer a solution. I was so upset, paid for the food I did not eat and could not even take with me. I am definitely never going...

I wanted to love Los Cucos. The building is big and well decorated. There is a bar. Our server was nice and efficient. However, In an area filled with authentic, incredible Mexican food - Los Cucos will not be my new "fave." If you want Mexican food that will blend in and do well "up North" you will be happy here. They have a large menu and plenty of selection. On the up side, I really appreciated the care and concern shown to accommodate a food allergy. I very much appreciated the ambiance. What I could not appreciate was some menu items. A stuffed bell pepper is not a traditional relleno. Our tableside guacamole was a great idea. Our server was fantastic at eliminating or reducing elements, like jalapeno, during prep. Unfortunately, it went uneaten at the table. It was so acidic from too much lemon that it made us pucker. I ordered seafood enchiladas that were made using a flour tortilla. The dish had good size pieces of seafood. Not sure if it was a part of the filling or a sauce but the seafood enchiladas had a lot of bite and spice. I am a Texan. I do love some texture and heat without sacrificing the balance of the dish. However, the creaminess and natural seafood sweetness was overpowered. It is a recipe style and personal preference. The dish was well plated and served at the correct temp. I will return with a group for appetizers and adult beverages. I'll stick to my "hole in the wall" family ran places for my Mexican...

I have been coming to thos Los Cucos for 9 years. Never had an issue until tonight. Horrible service. The police were involved. It took 2 hours for our food. Other people were being served and we were just ignored . Finally get our food and check. I was charged $9.99 each for 3 margaritas. I got there before 6pm and was told the margaritas were $3.99. To make a long story short, I told our waitress and manager there was a mistake with our check. Instead of correcting it he told me I had to pay the full amount or he was going to call the police . His staff took up for me and told him it was an error on the resturants part. He called the police made a huge scene and eventually took the drinks off the tab . The only thing that saved me was I had placed a to go order for my husband and that receipt showed a time of 5:50. He was so arrogant until the end. I was told it was a blessing for me not to be charged. The police couldn't believe he called on me. I will never go back, nor will any of my associate. I want to call the news, Isaiah Carey. It was that bad. I could have paid the $30 for the drinks, Im not broke. It just wasnt right how I was being treated . And in front of my 3 and 4 year old, daughter and niece, coming from ballet class. Outrageous! Some of the staff came out to my car and told me they would inform the real manager in the morning. I am really upset. This is...

We ordered beef fajitas for two, they were so dry and completely in edible. The tortillas were hard and would crack the minute you tried to roll them up. The edges of the tortilla were rock hard and actually hurt my teeth. My daughters burger was charred black and I understand that this is a Mexican restaurant and she shouldn’t have ordered a burger but she’s a kid. The heart wants what the heart wants. We complained to the manager and he told us we ate half so he can’t do anything. The fajitas come with 6 tortillas.. there are 5 and a half tortillas on our table how the hell did we eat half???? He wouldn’t even accommodate us and bring us out fresh fajitas and made us pay for half. I’m looking at you Marvin the manager. Any other restaurant would want us to be return customers and would either comp our food or bring us out new food but he refused. We will never be returning to this restaurant again. There’s a reason why no one in pearland visits this place.

We have been enjoying great food here since before Pearland exploded into a suburban oasis. It may be hard to imagine the city without the Town Center, shops and dining. But when it was just WalMart, Krogers and Randall's we had Los Cucos to eat good food. This time was nothing short of that and service from Gomez was wonderful. We opted for a sauce to go with our chicken and steak fajitas. This sauce is the poblano peppers, mushrooms, and onion in a cream sauce. It definitely gave the fajitas a totally different flavor. Less tex-mex and more savory/hearty. You could put that sauce on pasta and have a another meal. LOL Try the Los Cucos sauce which has a red base and is spicy. I've had that before and it keeps the fajita flavor well. We always get the queso which is served with homemade thick tortilla chips. Yummy goodness. Oh, we went back and had dessert. That's the Tres Amigos. Thank me later.😋😉 Tell them E.Free sent you and let me know if you enjoyed it.

Ordered from this place for mother day and we had 2 problems. 1. Didn’t receive part of our order yet we’re still charged for it. 2. We had a full size TOWEL in our tortilla soup! I called these problems in only to be told “we don’t use towels in our kitchen” as if to insinuate I was lying! I drove back to the store with the tortilla soup in tow to show the manager the paper towel in our soup to only listen to more excuses. I was offered a partial refund for the tortilla soups & the missing choriqueso….when I should have received a FULL refund for the mere INCONVENIENCE! Overall the manager took zero accountability and acted in a way that was totally unacceptable. Stay away, the food is obviously not clean! Was told I would receive a call from the GM tomorrow…we will see if they keep their word.
