I recently got two new tires on my 03 Alero with the life time rotation and alignment. I waited about to hours for my vehicle which was alright but when they pulled my vehicle forward I noticed the front driver tire still looked flat. Which has been going on for awhile due to the alignment. So when I went in to get my key and paper work I asked for my alignment report. The new guy went out to the shop to get it and that is when the service writer Dave came in , froze looking at me and said sorry we over looked that you needed an alignment we will pull your vehicle in asap, he then turned around and walked away. First off when anyone gets new tires you should always have an alignment. Two, Dave is known in the community for previously owning Quick Pic on derby street back in the day. I was 11 or twelve where he allowed me to stock his shelves but also tried getting under aged females to expose themselves to him for free stuff. He is also the man who laughed at my father when he seen he was dying of cancer, to his face. I will continue to go back to Firestone because of Mitch but I want everyone to know that Dave is not the man he says he is. Mitch was beyond amazing though. He talked with me about some wiring issues I was having with my vehicle and also found the part I need at a local shop. He provided me with beyond amazing customer service. In my opinion, from a Business major, Mitch deserves a promotion. I believe he is more knowledgeable and able to handle situations that can get very stressful. Things happen in a shop that can be a pain and I understand that, but the way that Dave approached me and said what he said and turned around and walked away, even a monkey could do. But Mitch explained why they were behind and that he would personally make sure everything was done right. Management needs to really rethink who the want...

They got me in on a sunday to do my alignment and mount new tires, and the service rep was nice, thats why I gave them 3 stars. The reason it is not 5 stars is (1) i asked for my old tires back, but they were not in my truck bed. I was storming when I left and didnt realize they were not in the bed. Now i have to drive back and pick em up. Hopefully they still have them tomorrow morning when they re-open. (2) the steering wheel is not straight. It is about 5 degreees to the left. So now i have to go back to have them re-align the syeering wheel. (3) They did not reset the TPMs so 1/2 way home I had to deal with the warning lights about low preasure in the rear wheels. (4) the biggest complaint is with the price. Mounting and balancing were suppose to $59. Which is about standard. Then i was told they "have" to do a TPMs service kit for $30. I informed them that all 4 valve stems were just reolaced by the dealership. They said they still have to do it. Depending on how they handle the aforementioned issues i may update this review.
Update: I was able to schedule a followup appointment a few days later. My appt was at 4pm and I arrived a few minutes early. I was pleasently suprised to be greeted by name and they took my truck back right away and got started on it. To my surprise they also credited me the money from the tpms service kit that i really shouldnt of needed. They definitly went above and beyond to make sure I was happy, and now everything is as...
Read moreWent to the shop approximately a year ago needing new front brakes on my Ford Taurus. They gave me the estimate and I said it would be too much, so they put the parts back on the vehicle. When they put the parts back on, they left one of the calipers in the seized open position and couldnât get it undone. Instead of properly notifying me about what it happened, the shop manager/supervisor at the time Mike, gave me my keys and said âhey man, those brakes are bad be safeâ and that was it. Got in my car and I had the brake pedal touching the floor and the caliper still was barely catching, car barely stopping. It wasnât like this before coming in. At least they engaged when pressed. I had a huge argument with Mike yelling back and forth about how he gave me an unroadworthy vehicle and was about to send me into rush-hour traffic. He blamed it on âyour car parts were old, what do you want me to do?â When you bring your vehicle to a shop, a mechanic should expect the parts to be bad otherwise, why are you going? I donât fix stuff that isnât broken. Mike tried to claim his age and experience made the problem okay. I let Mike know that just because youâve been doing something a long time, doesnât mean youâre good at it. Mike didnât like that statement and puffed his chest at me in the...
