Customer service was great, food was not so great. Fries were cold and stale. Made me wonder if they gave me scraps that had been sitting in the bin for hours. Drinks were pure watered carbonation vs a root beer and coke. One bad I could understand, but both? Sandwiches were messed up, I ordered no cheese on one sandwich and there was cheese on both sandwiches. I've been to other locations and I have to say this one was the oddball worst experience I've ever had. The tots were the only thing that were halfway decent. I won't mention the cleanliness of the inside area and the other employees. Again, the window attended was clean, professional and courtesy, but who ever made the food and the work environment that you could clearly see through the drive through window, corporate or the health department, needs to do an emergency visit...

Im always in the drive thru and trying to get food quickly while on my lunch break, I was check the bag to make sure the correct items are in there but when I get back to work the burgers are always wrong.. Today I ordered a #2 Super Sonic Burger with no Mayo and no lettuce.. the wrapper had a sticker that said NO MAYO.. open wrapper and mayo is oozing out the side of the burger.. SERIOUSLY?!?!?! I always have to repeat my order, I don't know if the girl can not hear me or that she doesn't know what shes doing. Very frustrating because I do enjoy Sonic food. I believe the burgers are the best burger ive ever had when theyre made the way I order them... also for a good price. Wish the pekin location could get some better employees, that pay attention...
Read moreI placed an order through the drive thru at the Pekin Sonic Drive-In during a really busy lunch rush. The young man that took my order was a trainee.I received the total at the speaker and pulled ahead as directed. Upon reflection I did the math and it seemed high. When I got to the window I asked the young lady to tell me what she had on the order. It was missing an item and had a meal on it that I hadn't ordered. Without being put out in the least she apologized and made sure the mistake was corrected very quickly and with a fantastic attitude. I could see the smile in her eyes if not the one on her face due to the mask she wore (stupid covid). I commend Sonic for having a great employee who quickly made it right and did so...
