Was in line today when an older lady came in with a Yorkie dog dressed in a tutu. The dog was unleashed and un-carted and was running around jumping on unsuspecting people. As a mom of kids with horrible dog allergies, I was sad to learn that they are a "pet friendly" store. I don't want to imagine all the dog germs in a buggy I let my kid ride in when I wasn't prepared for an allergy attack in Hobby Lobby of all places! Service dogs are one thing, but other people need to get a brain! I wonder how much money a person would be awarded by Hobby Lobby in a lawsuit if these dogs bit them or caused them to fall and break a hip? I wonder if Hobby Lobby sanitizes their shopping carts after someone's wormy dog has ridden in them? Disgusting. Why is common sense not common anymore? The rest of us leave our pets at home and enjoy the trip without them. Please let us enjoy the trip without your dog too, Pekin. Much obliged.
Other than this, I love Hobby Lobby. I'd hate to see how much I've spent there over the...

Working customer service for so many years I feel it's important for all employees to learn the merch even if they are assigned a certain department. Granted I do realize there are part timers that don't spend that much time there and new products always come in but they should be trained to always go the extra mile. If they are unsure or don't know they should find a more knowledgeable employee or a manager. I do not say this because I was upset or felt any certain way about my experience. However, some customers might and it seems to happen almost every time I am in there which indicates to me it could be a...
Read moreThis place is always well stocked; very clean; and they have a tremendous array of artistic mediums, household decor, party supplies, and so much more. My ONLY complaint EVER is that the general manager can be quite rude, not willing to help, and having worked for (and have friends and family members who have worked for) various restaurants, he often orders food for his employees and never tips a penny to the delivery drivers and is quite rude to them to. Sorry, but that speaks volumes to me about how the general manager treats others! The rest of the staff is typically very informative and...
