Went to visit and there were two rabbits in a cage in the 80 degree heat. As we got closer we saw that the condition of the cage was filthy and that one of the rabbits had passed away. We informed the worker and she said someone had left them but no one had been called to see if they could be helped or rehomed. The worker said she would inform the owner. We left to go eat and then we returned later that day. The cage now had a blanket over it and the rabbit that was still alive was not in it. It was on the porch not a foot away from the cage unmoving and terrified. Domestic rabbits cannot survive in the wild. The owner refused to do anything and we spent a lot of time calling anyone we could think of who could come help this rabbit. We left a voicemail with a rabbit rescue who later was able to rescue it. She said that it's temperature was three degrees over what is normal and was very close to dying from...
