After further use of my phone Im changing my review too one star. Do not take your phone here to get a battery. Let me explain my three star review. I went in to get a battery for my iphone 6 plus. While they were changing my battery they broke the screen on my phone. No big deal. They fixed it free of charge. But now when the case is on my phone It does not let me tap the keyboard. Right now my case is not on my phone and I'm having to press two to three times to get results. Something happened when they changed my screen to where my phone does not work the same as it used too and I'm very unhappy with the way it works. Sure I could take it back and they'd try and make it right. But I use my phone all day nonstop and notice a difference in it and it probably will never be as good as it was. I always kept a case on my phone and my screen didn’t have a scratch on it. Now I'm having to use it without a case because the sensitivity of it is messed up and it wont hardly work with the case on it. I would take it back and ask them to fix it but I don’t want to seem petty. Im sure they'd touch the screen and say it works just fine. But they aren’t going to be using it as much as i am and wont see the difference. Im afraid I should've just bought another phone because the way this one works now I'm gonna have to buy another one anyways because i don't like pushing the same button three times to get a response. Read moreSometimes the experience is good, but not always. Today I went to the store to return a cell phone battery I purchased a couple months ago. I understand that I should have returned it sooner, but it slipped my mind. I was eventually able to get a store credit, but the manager, Jim, was extremely rude. After he finished lecturing about it being over 30 days and telling me he really shouldn't take it back I asked if there was anything he could do. With a huff he said he would try to dig up a purchase of the same product in December and use that as my return. With a few grunts he found one and then told me he could do a credit but he was not just going to give me a refund. He was also extremely rude to his employee while helping me and even critized him in front of me. I would make it a point to never shop with them again. The one in Alabaster is just as convenient. I only have a year to use this credit. That’s about as often as I shop there. Maybe I’ll be able to use it.
Maybe a little less lecture and rudeness along with just a statement of the fact that only a credit can be issued would to over a little better...
Read moreFirst and foremost, I'd like to say this place has some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. That is with particular credit going to the person I dealt with, Eric. He went above and beyond helping me figure out a simple but time-consuming problem he could have easily blown off.
I've never even actually considered going to a Batteries Plus before, always just going to a Walmart or Home Depot for that kind of stuff. I went to this location following up on an issue a family member was having finding a charger and it was like night and day compared to a big box stores. I regret not trying out these stores in the past, and will not be making that mistake in the future if there's ever an issue I can handle through Batteries Plus. Definitely got a new customer for life and I will not hesitate to recommend this...
