I stayed at this location in late August. I'm still waiting on the owner to call. If I could give a negative zero I most definitely would. The only person who deserves a five star is Mr.Chris. He was very professional. I will give the condensed version. When I checked in the first room bathroom wasn't clean. Mr.Chris asked if I would like to change rooms. I said yes. That room had issues as well. I was to tired to change again. I stayed two nights due to plumbing issues at my apartment. Upon me checking out I asked for a late check out. I then called Hilton's customer service. To let them know about my stayed. The gentleman put me on hold. And called the front desk he merged the call. The lady was rude and unprofessional. She threatened to call the police on me. I told her go ahead. The gentleman apologize for how she was acting. And stated he would be sending the call up to upper management. Upon me leaving the lady called the room phone then my cellphone asking when am I leaving. As I go to check out. I learned the lady at the first desk is the lady who said yes I could check out late. And also the lady who was rude and unprofessional on the phone with the customer service gentleman. I asked for her name. She said Asterik. I said thank you for showing them how unprofessional and rude you guys are. He's sending that call to upper management. She stated she didn't care because this is her second job. Then Asterik said I can't help that you are HOMELESS. I told her i am not homeless. And she better be gald that I like my freedom. Cause I would molly hop her ass through this hotel. She said let's do it. Then said no I'm going to call the police. I told her ok. She called and lied about the situation. The police came asked what happened. I told them he oh ok. I could go I told him, she said she wanted to trespass me. So the officers told me to wait. So Asterik put me on their trespass list. I reached back out to Hilton's customer service. They apologize and sent the owner a message to call me. They asked what i wanted from the owens i said a apologize something done to Asterik. And me moved off the trespass list. Not that I want to go back. Cause I do not. It's just the point. If your in the hospitality business. You suppose to treat people with respect. You should never call someone HOMELESS. Or make fun of someone situation. Where is the humidity. One of the owner email asked what happened. But never replied back to my email. That...
Read moreNot at all to the Hilton standard. As a Diamond member, I’ve stayed at a ton of Hiltons all over the US and overseas and this one was definitely below expectations. We stayed here early in the year (2023) for a baseball tournament and the rooms were really outdated and not clean. We heard this hotel had done some remodeling so we decided to give it another try and this is definitely the last time. I think they hired “The guy that lives in a van down by the river” as the contractor for the remodel. Tile in the bathroom not grouted properly causing tiles to stick up and loose, door to the bathroom won’t latch, cheap lamp doesn’t have an on/off switch (you have to plug it and unplug it to turn it on/off) and most importantly, the room door doesn’t latch!!! We didn’t notice this until we got back to our room late at night and couldn’t get it to latch. Anyone could have pushed our door open and taken our things while we were gone!! The last straw was the cheap toilets they have newly installed. Ours clogged with just a little toilet paper. We called the front desk from the room to get a plunger and they put us on hold before we could even ask for it and never returned back from hold. We hung up and I had to send my son down to get a plunger. (Embarrassing). Nobody was at the counter and after waiting 10 mins he walked behind the counter to find the worker sitting at the desk. This was at 10pm. He also went to the bathroom “for everyone” downstairs and said someone had an explosion in the bathroom and feces all over the toilet and floor. Toilet paper with feces on it in the trash can as well as broken glass on the floor. I normally don’t write bad reviews but someone needs held accountable. We come to this area a lot for sports and I will be looking for another Hilton down the road...
Read moreThis was the best Hampton that we have ever stayed at. The lady working the breakfast area was impeccable. She paid attention to every single little detail. Hampton has really upped its game on not only the breakfast for the overall stay. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely courteous when we checked in and he even gave us two bottles of water in a bag to check a sin with. The whole atmosphere is very nice almost elegant. The room was extremely clean. The only semi complaint I would ever have about this facility was the fact that they use a lot of wallpaper and wallpaper requires a lot of upkeep but that does not take away from your stay at all. The beds were absolutely perfect the firmness of them was exactly what we needed after a long day of mountain biking at Oak Mountain State Park. There were four pillows on each bed too soft and too firm which allow you to have what you wanted for selection and you were able to prop yourself up in bed to read or search the internet prior to falling asleep. One of the neatest things in the room was the ceiling fan I have never been to a hotel with a ceiling fan this was quite a nice feature in a smart option since it will help this hotel save energy on their Heating and Cooling. Speaking of heating and cooling, there was perfect control on the wall and once you set it it stayed at the right setting perfect. In the bathroom the Furnishings are very nice and everything worked fine, you even got some mouthwash which I have not seen for quite a while and any hotel. There was a mini fridge in the room and a microwave, we did not use either one. Again this hotel is the best Hampton we have...
