SoundCheck is one of my favorite places in New England, Great vibes, lighting, sound and people.
Everyone who works here is always making it a great time for everyone! The bartenders are attentive and always ready to serve!
The space is big with a large dance floor that even with larger and sold out shows there is room to move and dance.
There is limited seating and a small lounge area with a couple couches so if you need to spot to relax after wearing though your dancing shoes though the soles there will be something around.
There is a upstairs area that oversees the main stage area and can give you a real unique view of a act, there is also a pool table up there if you want to have a game while listening to the music.
There is parking at the venue and during busy shows there will be a attendant outside assisting you to where to park. There is a walkway outside the doors where you can chill and smoke em if ya got them!
Overall I LOVE soundcheck. My favorite hangout spot! If you see a show you want to...
Read moreFirst, the good. Vaccine card or Covid test required to get in. Bartender was super friendly and made great drinks. The band was awesome. Now the bad. The doors opened at 6pm and the band was supposed to come on at 7 PM. I had been told by a friend that you were allowed to bring your own food but when I inquired about this I was told that they would be a food truck. Well the food truck didn’t even show up until almost 7 PM and the line was so long that it was close to 8 PM by the time we got our food. We were positively starving. And it was so dark at that point we couldn’t even see what we were eating. Additionally the band didn’t come on until about 7:45 PM. But that’s not even the worst part. If you are sensitive to cigarette and pot smoke this is not the place for you. Every single time I went up to the dance floor to dance I had to leave because of either cigarette or pot smoke. Just because the venue is outside does not make this OK. I will...
Read moreThe venue was clean, spacious and comfortable. FABULOUS TIME! Went to hear "BootyVortex"; an exceptional 12 piece band playing 70's dance music. The wait staff and door staff were friendly and accommodating. The drinks were made with full, undiluted shots, the crowd ranged in age between 20's-"blue-hairs" and we ALL had a great time dancing. Very friendly crowd from all over the area (including N.H.) No brawls, no smoke, no problems. Adequate parking and restrooms, bar stool seating, some tables in the off-floor back lounge. Located in a large, unconjested industrial park right off Rt.3, near a gas station, and a "Dunkies". What more could you need?! Would not hesitate to go again!...will be going again! (P.S.:we're...
