5 for employee tonight. 0 for owner and management!! Any negative review associated with any type of experience at this establishment, is from the people in positions above. You have kids (young adults) willing to work for you, and they cannot be tipped???That’s atrocious! Especially in today’s world. However, I need to pay extra for a tiny scoop of sour cream that my son barely wants? At Taco Bell?? That’s absurd. It’s Taco Bell. Calm down management.. they deserve a tip. As do you, so here goes. As a successful mother and well raised and educated individual.. I go to Taco Bell because my son “likes” the food and honestly it’s just somewhat convenient. On the contrary, we pass a McDonalds and Burger King and now a jersey Mikes.. so, I no longer will. As a normal individual with half of a brain. If you don’t treat your employees well, not even “well” in this case, but as they don’t deserve, why should I assume the food my son consumed tonight was made well? Think about it? Again, it’s Taco Bell.. but when you treat employees even somewhat respectfully, people appreciate it and it shows. I’m disgusted, poor kids showing up for you.. forget it. As a child of a business owner and live in business owner myself, I think it’s deplorable. But, it’s a franchise and you’re chasing a buck. Pathetic. You Probably wouldn’t even have your own kids work there. Extremely disappointed. Even country clubs allow employees to be tipped. Taco Bell.. haha this is actually entertaining. Not for the poor kids working though. Shameful. Why any young adult work work here is beyond comprehension. There are a million jobs out there.. and you are able to get tipped for your service. Tipping is voluntary and situational. Not mandatory. I can’t even say thank you with $1.47 to the person making my sons food and serving it at 8:00 at night. But a lot of effort went into it. The $250,000 paycheck your “boss” is getting and your minimum wage.. think about it. Apply elsewhere. You may be appreciated and your efforts will show. My sons would never work at a fast food place but I encourage kids to work hard and take pride.. this place.. gross. But you still have to pay extra for hot sauce....
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. I work overnights and decided to place an order via DoorDash for a late dinner and a lunch treat for my kids. It was later in the day and the order was picked up at 11:28PM. I had no idea until the order was placed that it was for the Pembroke location and had I known that it would cause an issue, I would have canceled it immediately.
Fortunately for my family, my husband looked inside the packaging while verifying the contents of the order and saw a message that was left. We immediately poured out the drinks and bagged the food up in a secondary fridge.
I'm not a Karen, but I'm also not comfortable ever ordering food from this location again. I understand that food service is difficult especially now, but I am just a person trying to work and enjoy a quick meal from an occasional indulgence, not someone who needs to be left foreboding messages because of sour grapes.
edit: regarding the reply, since I can't reply, I reached out to Taco Bell corporate yesterday on Twitter and they are looking into this. I really hope nothing was done to our food but at least we got a 'warning'. It makes me worried as to what staff at this location may have done without...
Read moreEvery time I order from this Taco Bell I get disapointed and don't want to go anywhere near another Taco Bell for months. Either they take 30+ minutes to make up a single order, forget to put in food you ordered and still make you pay for it, putting unwanted ingredients in your food, or a mix of all 3. Tonight it was a mix of all 3 for me at least and its my final straw this this place. Order took 30 minutes to make (not including the extra 10 minutes it took to drive there since we ordered on the app), still was missing a Burito Supreme after all that time, and we find out later that someone loaded it with a spicy sauce that I didnt order with it. I'm going to start going to the Taco Bell in Plymouth because even though its a longer drive, I'd probably be saving time just driving there instead of waiting in Pembroke. 1 Star....
